what tsunade was considered to be the best at was to canalize healing in chakra in a very controlled and precise way essential for medical procedures, sure she is able to use this ability to increase her strenght but naruto would take no advantage by learning this: what's the point of throwing a super strong punch when you can do rasengan?
I doubt she could have taught Naruto IMHO. Sakura already had exceptional chakra control to begin with. She couldn't have altered the seal either
ya even if Tsunade is hokage, some teachers are just not suited to teach certain students. Tsunade just wouldn't have been able to teach naruto as effectively as Jiraiya. I mean look at Kakashi, he couldn't train naruto properly at first either, which is why he focused on Sasuke and left naruto to another teacher. It was till Naruto gain more experience and grew smarter and logical that he was able to train naruto effectively. And even then he had a hard time dumbing it down enough for him to understand... Not everyone is suited to teach anyone. they need to have stuff in commen.
By the time Tsunade came around, Naruto was already Jaraiya's student....which is a good thing because Kakashi taught him team dynamics and then just left him alone until after he had already learned the rasengan. He apparently taught Sakura some stuff about genjutsu that's now probably worthless since they are facing Uchiha enemies, and taught Naruto nothing....a better question would be why Kakashi couldn't put down his porn long enough to teach Naruto something useful. Seems that sharingan would have been great help if the boy ended up going out of control.
Kakashi guided naruto to create the futon rasen shuriken. and also taught him how to use wind style elements. A prime example on how teachers have specific skill for teaching.
Until the three years after Jaraiya had spent with Naruto, Kakashi taught him nothing except how to walk up a tree. Then he finally got around to teaching Naruto what he had taught Sasuke three years earlier.
exactly. When it came to teaching, Kakashi was better suited to teach elemental minipulation. Sasuke was ready to learn that since he had already learned how to use fire at the time... Naruto wasn't ready back then to learn any element but only ready to learn Shape minipulation. which is why Jiraiya was better suited for naruto at the time... Once naruto got some experiance and got a little smarter when it came to chakra, he was then ready to learn elemental minipulation from Kakashi... The teacher student mixture just didn't workd with naruto and kakashi at the time...
You know, when Iruka came to Kakashi about team 7 taking the chuunin exam, Kakashi told him to step off, because they weren't his students anymore, they were now Kakashi's men.
So it's mind boggling that Kakashi couldn't spare the ten seconds it would have taken to identify either Naruto or Sakura's elemental nature by having them hold a piece of paper. I don't understand this bad student teacher mix. Like a guy who had copied 1000 jutsu couldn't come up with 1 to teach to Naruto or Sakura.
You realize that during that tree walking exorcise, Naruto didn't even know what chakra was? There was a lot of ground to cover. And all he covered was tree walking with Naruto. Meanwhile, Sasuke learned Lee style taijutsu and chidori. When Kisame and Itach showed up at Naruto's hotel room, the poor boy could only think to try and pull out Kyuubi chakra, which thanks to Jiraiya, he could now do. He had no other skills except kage bunshin and henge.
And poor Sakura was bottom of the barrel. I'm not giving Kakashi a pass for that. The guy is a genius. If he felt like Naruto's level was too low, he should have just given him back to Iruka. Don't just blow the kid off. He's the village jinchuriki for crying out loud. And he was given Naruto to turn him into an asset.
Kakashi was probably like...
Kakashi - "should I actually train the students that aren't filled with hatred that could later be used against me.. or should I teach the kid with the biggest emotional load my greatest technique... oh well whats the worst that can happen..."
2 1/2 years later
Kakashi - "At least I still have you, porn... now to genjutsu my own clone to wipe it's memory and transform it to Sakura... okay, let's train!" --closes door
But when you look at it, Kakashi didn't just leave naruto to fend for himself. He got another teacher to train naruto, that one guy that became Konohamaru's sensei (forget his name). Now he didn't look like much when it came to naruto, but that's because he didn't want to train naruto, but he must be well respected since he was alway's put in charge of training the Hokage's grandson. So Kakashi didn't leave him completely alone... It's easier to train someone one on one then to do it in a group. So Kakashi actually did the right thing. He only chose to train sasuke because they both had the sharingan so they were more compatible... Again it goes back to who was ready to learn his style of fighting. At this time Sasuke was stronger and also ready to learn it. As for Sakura, she had failed to move on to the next round so he didn't have time to focus on her at that time... Sasuke needed to get WAY stronger and quick, so he needed his full attention on Sasuke...
Now by the time the chuunin exams had ended, Naruto had already gotten a new sensei in Jiraiya, which Kakashi talked to Jiriaya and he even opoligized to Kakashi for taking his student. And Sakura was too emotionally traumatized from the fight that Naruto and Sasuke had to train her properly. When she WAS finally ready to train, she had already found her way to Medical techniques, which Kakashi know's nothing about so he had to let her go with the best teacher which was Tsunade. So you see if you look at the circumstances, Kakashi did the best he could with what he had and everything actually turned out good, except for the fact that Kakashi lost his last student to yet another Sannin (orochimaru). So technically, Kakashi basically got screwed over by the sannin. lol
