Well, those who were worried that Toni would mess up the fight between Law and Smoker, what did you think?
song, won't you kindda wish for a new one But maybe you really like We Go!
It's probably the longest opening that has ever lasted, beating we are! and believe now.
But I heard somewhere about an new opening in 589 or 590. If there isn't, the least they can change is the faces of hody, fishmen
island peeps into peeps from punk hazard. Kind of like how HXH has the same opening(4 versions) but change the graphics.
I don't mind long used openings to be honest, and If I enjoy the song I let it play all long. There is ton of music I hear that I played over 500 ti 20 times :P 20 chapters or 50 wont kill me.
The episode wasn't all that bad animation-wise, but it's clear that it was nowhere near the standard many of us are used to. But it was good to see the manga fight in fluid animation and with some extended scenes. I think even if the animation doesn't majorly shoot up in the next few episodes, we'll enjoy the comedy of Sanji/Nami and the whole body swap malarchy.
Eh, it could have been worse, but it really wasn't all that great imho. I suppose it wouldn't really matter since I always pictured the fight to be faster pace, but we all know how fast we're moving along.
If anything I can say the comedy has been on point, the action may not be much to me but the gags have been just as funny as I remember them being (I particlarly remember a scene when Brook had found the lake, they played up how the samurai torso was following him only to be rolling down the hill, its a small momment but it had me rolling *no pun intended*)
Next announced episodes:
http://www1.watchop.com/watch/one-pi...nglish-subbed/ Chapters out, I liked the whole episode compared to the one before. It had some great humour. It covered 1 whole chapter so i guess the pacing was alright.
I'm surprised no one has made any comment about the last episode. Didn't anyone think it was funny?
Is it just me, or has the anime really taken a turn for the worse? It feels like an episode is roughly half of a chapter and just extended with lots of repetitive, boring fillers. The drawings also seem to have taken a turn for the worse. On the other hand, it could be that it's always been like that. It hasn't been too long since I had enough and decided to read the manga as well, which could simply have changed my perspective on things.
going from terrible to barely passable and only good in rare occasions. We can bitch all we want but in the end, toei's not going
to change a single thing because their audience is mostly japanese kids and teens who wake up on Sunday to watch One Piece before
going for breakfast..and unless they complain or start raging like mad, we won't see any big change coming.
So all I have to say is to deal with it and try not to compare One Piece to any of the anime pacing/animation standards out there(like brotherhood)
and to just relax and watch it if you can.
If you can't, then just don't. I once raged so hard during the Marineford war that I almost smashed my screen.
Pretty boring episode, but can't be helped they needed to build up the arc's main enemy.
