One of the most important elements in a movie is its music. While good acting is essential, it is also thanks to the music used in a scene that feelings and emotions are conveyed to the viewers. Have you ever watched a movie without any music or sound? It is not the same right, the music is a big reason why some movies are the amazing films they are. In fact, some songs have defined some movies.
So this is a thread to post our favorite movie music. Whether it is an instrumental song or an artist featuring a song; or whether it is an oldie but goodie, or a brand new song; feel free to post your fav movie songs here and share them with the rest of us.
Here are some of my favorite movie songs:
Pirates of the Caribbean - Will and Elizabeth
The Chronicles of Narnia. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe - Evacuating London
Joe Esposito - You're the best (The Karate Kid I)

I feel it'd be easier to list entire soundtracks rather than songs, but that list would become too long as well, so I'm just gonna list some songs I especially like:
Eddie Vedder - Hard Sun (from Into the Wild)
Glen Hansard - Say It To Me Now (from Once)
Beck - Everybody's Gotta Learn Sometimes (from Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind)
And for some instrumental scores:
Lux Aeterna (from Requiem For A Dream)
Ennio Morricone - Ecstasy of Gold (from The Good, The Bad, The Ugly)
Oh, and this, because it's the most awesome "look cool while walking"-song ever.
I'll probably make a more thorough list of my favorite complete soundtracks later, but this will do for subscribing.
And since I mentioned The LOTR, I may as well post some of my favorite songs from this amazing trilogy :
The Lord Of The Rings Soundtrack - The Breaking Of The Fellowship
The Lord Of The Rings - Evenstar
The Lord Of The Rings - The Riders of Rohan
The Lord Of The Rings - Helm's Deep
The Lord of The Rings - The Return of The King
my most favoirte movie song is my heart will go on - titanic. it is awesome...
Casshern ost- Back Horn- Requiem
love songs on that ost also most of songs from ost where used on first season of bleach as the composer was Shiro Sagisu
Sunshine OST - The Surface Of The Sun 'HD'
How the music is building up to a climax, is very great. This is probably one of my most favourite recent one (same composer of Kick Ass music)

Some more of my fav songs:
Narnia Soundtrack - Narnia Lullaby
The Chronicles of Narnia - Prince Caspian OST - Return of the Lion
From my favorite Batman movie:
Seal - Kiss From A Rose
Hm... movie soundtracks... maybe Snatch
The Stranglers - Golden Brown
Couldn't find a decent version of 10cc - Dreadlock Holliday, which is also part of it.
Oh, Tarantino Movies always go with a great soundtrack of course
The Lonely Shepherd
Twisted Nerve (everyone knows this, I'm certain)
Battle without Honor or Humanity
Down In Mexico
Dave Dee Dozy Beaky, Mick & Titch - Hold Tight
These are kinda cheated as all these movies mainly use pre-existent music, but it works fine
Since I just watched Inception a couple of days ago, here are some songs from this movie that I liked:
Inception Soundtrack #9 Dream Within A Dream (Hans Zimmer)
Inception Soundtrack - #10 Waiting For A Train (Hans Zimmer)
Inception Soundtrack - #7 Mombasa (Hans Zimmer)
Inception Soundtrack - #8 One Simple Idea (Hans Zimmer)
Cry by Mandy Moore. I cried while going out from the movies. It caused my tears to fall a lot.
Anyway, all sound tracks in A Walk to Remember were fantastic!
In the mood for love of wong kar wai.
All is great, the beautiful Angkhor Wat theme, Nat King Cole, even the strange traditional chinese musics are not so bad after a few hearing. Plus the movie with so beautiful
Here’s another movie soundtrack I like very, very much :
"Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" - Michael Kamen – Soundtrack
And of course I also like the following song :
Bryan Adams - (Everything I Do) I Do It For You
I haven’t re-watched “Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" in quite a long time, but iirc the movie wasn’t that bad and it was actually pretty cool. However, what I liked the most about that movie was its music; the movie soundtrack for that movie was wonderful.
