the OVA i think was just a promotional ep to introduce Beelzebub to a greater public, so no harm done... This episode, imo, was great! i loved it! I can't wait to see Kanzaki and hear Tomozaku Sugita's voice again!
Anyway, the humor was still beelzebub, although there were some that felt forced. Also, sometimes, when Beel wailed, it sounded annoying, but I still think he's completely adorable. Hildegarde was awesome!!! and I like the OP!
The OP indeed has a very energetic feeling, which fits the series tone well. Also, I believe some of the gags were "filler" (can't remember exactly), and thus felt bit forced. The pacing of comedic sequences didn't work as great as in the manga either.
Beel was prolly the best part in the pilot in my opinion.
I love the first episode the beel was awesome lol and i love Furichi screaming when oga tell him how he got beel
i like the episiode, but the fansub got really ts problems. I found 5-6 fails in the typesetting. For those who like fansub when its good working. So hope the group make it next time better.
The fails are by, 14:27-14:37, 18:49, 20:00, 21:33, 21:54. Oh befor 14:27 i doesn´t look about it. XD
The only thing I disliked about the first episode was how they failed to include some jokes, especially the random "parle vous français?" . That was a favorite of mine...
It was still a pretty good adaptation though.
I liked the 1°episode of Beelzebub, and for people that likes Beelzebub Manga, there is good website of Beelzebub that i found: http://www.beelzebubextremo.com
well sadly not english
the first episode was well done imo, nothing to really complain about. sure they made some changes and all, but overall it was funny and the art wasn't completly off, like in some well known anime from time to time where you really have to wonder if it was kids day at work, ah well, after the amazing peeing scene, I hope they won't cut out the flood
Did the anime already started or is the OVA the only thing that's out.
here link for the first episode -->http://www.animefans.tv/downloads/stream/7953.html
Im fine with everyone's voice except Beel's. Seriously his seiyu sounds way to mature to do a voice of a child. Honestly I can't get used to it, it annoys me to hell.
Also I think they started the animé way too early. Im rly seeing bad future for the anime, which will be probably filled with random filler scenes to arcs. Hopefully Im wrong, and if sth happens, hopefully there is no influence to the manga.
Edit: Beel's vocal cast.

There shouldn't be any negative influences on the manga... I don't know of any cases where the anime has influenced its manga compatriot, in fact
The big problem is that this is Studio Pierrot, which fuels your fear that there will be many filler arcs. I'm still hoping, though, that they will break the anime up into 2 (or more?) seasons, thus giving the manga time to generate more stuff to animate during the break between the 2 seasons (like D.Gray-Man, Tegami Bachi, Bakuman...) and stick to the manga plot. I'm generally wary of anime-original endings, though admittedly some can be good.
Baby Beel is like the cutest thing ever. Loved Hilda voice. <3
Also, did I see Hilda flying while throwing Getsuga Tenshos.
Episode was pretty decent. They changed some little things here and there, nothing too big. The animation was awkward in some places too, overall good job though.
The OP was okay and the ED was meh. I loved that soundtrack they used during the chase scene.
And Furuichi trying to grope a feel from Beel.
