(gumlover: your link didnt work for me for some reason...)
I really enjoyed this episode. The filler was fillery, but the animation was as beautiful as I expected.
The OST is amazing. That song near the end = love.
another website you can watch the anime on is http://www.anime44.com/category/ao-no-exorcist
omg!!!the anime was amazing! although there were fillers it wasn't too bad, in fact it was kinda funny! especially seeing rin's first day of work not going so well, man i thought i had it bad! lol this is probably the best month ever for ANE! first the english volume gets released, then the anime, and pretty soon the new chapter!!! woot! i'm so happy!!! though they had yukio move out a little bit earlier than the manga had him move. i just hope it doesn't mess up the story line too much! >.<
(on a totally random note, i just saw Insidious yesterday and OMG that was the scariest movie i have ever seen in a LONG time!put it this way, i never get scared during scary movies but this one i jumped out of my seat. and when the movie ended the people behind me ran out! it was non-stop scary and the scary parts would come out of nowhere! it was completely different than any other horror film i've ever seen, but different in a good way. definitely recomend it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E1YbOMDI59k)

i love that priest, that is funny guy ...
I haven't read the manga and still liked this a lot. Obviously I didn't notice any fillers and if some of that was indeed added, then I'd said it was possibly even better constructed than the manga, though as I said I haven't read it, so hard to say.
It was rather stantard shonen this far, but it works.
^I agree that the filler added more to the story. It showed Rin's frustration of not able to keep a job even though he has good intention (losing his first job because he was stopping those bullies and losing his job at the grocery store because he tried to get Yui's scarf back).
You can d/l the ED over at Random Curiosity

To tell the truth, I wasn't sure what to expect of the anime (especially the voice actors). But the voice actors have done a really good job! I didn't feel that they weren't like the characters at all. The ED sequence was a little weird, though... It's mainly like a car travelling on the road? That doesn't make much sense to me...
So far so good for me. I really enjoyed the first episode, all was as espected. There was filler, but it fitted pretty well.
The worst part for me was the ED, didn't like it at all.
I loved it!!
It was cute and sweet and heartwarming and fluffy. I wanted to give Rin a big hug and Yukio too. Shiro was more awesome than ever even though he's always been too awesome for words, and now he's officially off the scale (the scene during confession r u l e d). I loved the voice actors. Loved it that they started with a dark note (spoiler for those who didn't read the manga). I'm not a fan of this kind of music, but the idea of ED (metaphor for life path) was simple and creative and really good. I was never against fillers and indeed they were in character and entertaining. Drawings are pretty (nice eerie coloring of the blue flames) and the pace is perfect (I loved it when Rin sped to the bad boy or slow motion when Shiro came to the rescue). Looks like the story is in good hands
That being said, I think it was sometimes a little too cute-- I love Rin because he's a rough boy whose good nature shows every time he rushes to help or cheer people up. In the manga we had to wait till, erm, second part of the first chapter to see how insecure Rin is and it wasn't till Rin's background story that we saw how he struggles and suffers because of his aggressiveness. Here it was simply shown and said and it was a bit emo. It's not that I don't like it. It just feels so much like a fanfiction I'd write it doesn't feel right
I was puzzled about the possessed boy being Astaroth. Is that a spoiler for the manga readers?
