Any man has double-standards, regardless of how honorable he is. Especially when it's for the Iron Throne.

HBO Asia, posted (a mistake), the list of the episodes titles of season 2 with its writers :
G.R.R Martin also confirmed he'll write the script of the 7th episode of season 3 (which, of course, has been confirmed).Quote:

A very good and long interview. I'd say that it's mainly for those who read the books (spoilers) but each time there is one, you are warned, so I guess those who didn't read it yet can check this interview to a point.

Season 3 casting news already
Interesting that they held off on casting Shireen until next season. She should have been introduced at the beginning of this season since she's in the Prologue of book 2. They obviously abandoned doing things in order like that after season 1 so who knows. I guess Stannis not having an "heir" and his wife being "weak and barren" left it open-ended for him to have a daughter, but it came off to me like they were writing her out.
Interesting tidbits about the casting call for Daario Naharis, and apparently Tormund Giantsbane may have been cast ....HAARRRRRR
Well, that Shireen rumor feels very vague. Comes from a "friend of an friend" and all that. Sure, I'd love to have Shireen and especially her creepy fool side-kick, but for me too it felt like they were leaving her out of the story. Also the rumor said that hundres of 11-year-olds were audiotioning for the role. Seems like quite a lot for such a minor part.
Well Daario... I Just hope they make him more interesting as character than he is in the books. Imho among the worst characters out there.
As for that Norwegian guy. If he were older I could easily se him as Tormund. He certainly has the wilding look in that particular photo. But if he can pull the accent, why not Edmund? Reminded me of him at first. Built differently, but still pretty close. Or possibly Beric if they are gonna recast him.
Yeah, but I have really no clue how many people would turn out for such a minor role.
I'm interested in whether they'll keep the same Tyroshi look to Daario in the show.
I didn't think of that really. You mean Edmure, not Edmund? That could certainly be possible. Before I saw the photo and just read Norwegian I thought maybe it could be a Greyjoy Uncle, but doubt it. The Beric from season 1 just looked like an extra, so no clue.
