Adding wings! http://www.mangareader.net/210-57363...apter-198.html (behind Allen, on the chair).
I like the idea of nohas preying on his mind/ consciousness, and the innocence too, its strange attachment (parasitic type) to his host.
raw vol 23 is out! http://www.rawxt-scan.com/2012/04/dg...vol-01-23.html

DGM IS IN THIRD!!!!! YEAH! Seems like its popularity growed up right? 300,000 in its first week T_T im just proud :')
Good, but still hoping for higher sales. I read the two series that got higher sales than it and I agree that those two should be somwhere in the top 5 given this list but honestly for all I care Dgray man should be #1! Volume 23 was epic no joke
Is it just me, or did DGM make a rebound in its sales? I recall it selling in the 200,000-250,000 range a few volumes ago, but my mind may be playing tricks on me.
D.Gray-man is getting more popular... I'm sooooo happy! Guess DGM isn't an old school anymore, eh?
Edit --- Wait, 300,000+ sales in a week... I'll watch for the English like a hawk and click the buy button as soon as the book is ready

Looks like DGM won out in a competition between Gintama and Toriko. Not surprised that HxH far surpassed it (it has a very long-lived fandom), as did AnE (well, had I any money, I would have bought it if only for the alt cover). I'm surprised DGM did so well, but I'm betting it's because we got back to the core of DGM - Allen, Kanda, Link and Johnny - after it had gotten so shaken by the Alma arc, by the 14th's awakening, by the Apocryphos introduction and Lavi's capture. It's good to have some refocus on the protagonists and not entirely focused on the moral meanings of God, the universe and sandwiches.
After I think about it, DGM's vl. 23 is probably the most EPIC volume (in DGM's history, at least)! Well, first you get little Allen, Link's grave and Sheryl unleashes his anger on Lavi (plus, we got Tyki!) then OMG! Kanda's alive! Then Zuu then the whole search for Allen thingy, Kanda in the red-light district (oh, a drunk!Kanda...), then Allen make an epic comeback, then someone stalking them, Allen collapses then Link appears!
Putting Kanda on the cover definitely encourage depressed fans!

That's good news, certainly.
But, probably is in the third position because non of the three great mangas had new volume that week...?
(More than that, I find intriguing what ppl can find good in Ao no Exorcist...? Last time I checked it was boredom in person... Seriously, did it changed that much?)
Ao no Exorcist has pacing issues, but it's still a quality manga. Anyway, every manga has its issues. Look at DGM. A few years ago it was completely unrecognizable. The Alma Karma arc could literally have taken place in the 21st century and no one would be able to tell the difference. Now it's back to being a gothic Victorian series, thankfully.
well if you only read the first couple of chapters of ANE and you were expecting more plot development than i guess you would be a little disappointed and bored but after about chapter 8 is when the plot starts to develop. the first couple of chapters focuses mostly on just character development and that sort of thing but afterwards is when things start to get interesting!
but getting back to what i really wanted to say, (if anybody posted this already sorry!), you can now buy the DGM volumes on the nook (from barnes and noble) for $4.99!!!
