So we finally getting to the current timeline and we are going to hear Hodi's plan.
Actually it's no surprise that the killer was human, but still I think that it might not be the whole truth.
I hope we will get more in the chapter.
So the killer was a pirate... I sure didn't see that coming. I am hoping for some action next chapter :P.
Wonder how Sanji reacted to whole story.. i didnt find it in spoilers. He was very agressive towards Jinbei before flashback started. I hope that we will see Zoro next chapter- I know that he is alright but somehow I will feel better when Oda shows us that
The assassin was caught by Hodi. It was a pirate.
Jinbe tells him to hide the fact, but Hodi declares to everyone that the captured murderer was a human
----------yeah,what a solid truth,for sure.

Three first pages for the Baratie cover story, wonderful!
Anyway, so the assassin was none other than a pirate. This is what I feared a simple assassination without a formal plan nor motivation, darn it!
I liked the ending of this chapter however with Hodi acting like a terrorist by broadcasting himself but it also seems as if he eventually beat Zoro and Neptune which is rather interesting. Perhaps the drugs are making him so much stronger as I thought.
LOL... Luffy lives upto the expectation... He slept ..lol ... and we were discussing that after hearing the story he will do this.. he will do that...
Jinbei crying- would definitely wanna see that... also would like to see the pirates face as well.. known/unknown.. if just some regular pirate it might be a plot from hodi or it would have just happened the way shanks lost his arm because of a regular bandit
Luffy was sleeping, i already predicted this one Luffy has never been interested by the past, and never react basing on the past or what already happened.
Haha, Luffy sleeping through the whole flashback, Oda got us/me there. XD Nice to see that it wasn't Hodi nor VdD, which where implausible theories IMO.
I wonder if they will split up after this, with one group going into the forrest, while the rest takes up with the NFP or will he leave it to the end of the arc? I could see Luffy, Shirahoshi and Robin going in, while Jinbe takes the rest to encounter Hodi, if he feels responsible for him.
Wasn't it obvious from their last scene that Zorro and Co had no chance of escape?
No chapter next week, this can't be true.-_-

I agree, i think it is very odd that it was Hodi who caught the assasin of all people.
We know Hodi doesn't care about using his own men to protect himself, so he would have no problem killing his queen and blaiming someone else.
Also why a pirate? It seems like the government folks are racist, not the pirates(a lot of pirate groups have fishmen in them, not to mention their definition of "being free" certainly allows any kind of people to be in the world, as long as they are strong/brave)
Anyway, i was hoping to see a bit mroe about Arlong bribing the navy etc. but the flashback was nice and am glad its back to normal now.
I don't buy that the killers is some random human pirate. To damn convenient for it to be that simple. Sorta to nicely set up for Hodi to just want to announce who killed Otohime. This just reeks of a set up and Hodi feels like the real culprit. Anyway looking forward to the next chapter were we get to see some action in the current timeline.
Pirate battles are not ones of honour taking notice of advantages and disadvantages. Zoro could have put Hodi to sleep yet chose to slice him up a little then flee, If Hodi suddenly turns up pumped up with drugs and beats Zoro than yes he has won that fight and beaten Zoro.
Flashback is over! Good, now back to the ass kicking.
The three princes inherit the the will of the queen, inherited will seems to appear at least three teams every arc now.
This new layout makes it hard (for me) to distinguish the post message from the signature.
The flashback is officially over, Hooray !!
Luffy slept during the whole story telling, and I'd do just the same if I were him. This story was boring, who cares if, once upon a time, there was this woman who was shot and died .... Not Luffy anyways.
Heh, Queen Otohime's story reminds me of some guy's signature : "Life's a bitch and then you die".
I wouldn't be surprised if the killer is actually Hodi "who hates humans" (framing a human pirate in the process for even more profit).
