Can't be Crying Freeman (who has an awesome tattoo, but I don't think it's set to a high school scenario), but I'll look into it.
The art of Crying Freeman is similar to "Psychic Girl Mai", "Midnight Sanctuary", and some other manga which I can't think of the name of right now.

I can only describe it... I think it might have been Taiwanese/chinese created but it might not...
A rabbit prince from his planet unsealed an evil egg releasing 108(?) evil star eggs onto earth. These star eggs looks like normal eggs but after a period of time they start to transform into secondary and final stages where they can become destructive monsters. Basically the rabbit prince enlists the help of a human to catch all the eggs before they destroy earth and the rabbit's home planet..
I read the manga back in mid 90s, not sure when it stopped. I think the names of the protagonists are Touya and Deere? Anyone might know?
Yeah I've read Claymore...I might try D-Gray Man out now
DGM is great! More emo then Naruto with just as much action. You'd like Full Metal Alchemist and Fairy Tail too.
Fairy Tail? That sounds a bit...soft-ish
I've read quiet a lot like Black Cat, Claymore,Psyren etc but nothing tops Naruto or Bleach LOL I'll definitely try D-Gray Man and seen as there is a break with the series, it would give me time to catch up with what seems to be like lots of volumes >.<
Uhm...i like Nurarihyon no Mago it's really good, the plot is nice, the art work too, i could say it's as good as Naruto, couse you don't lost yourself reading, like bleach now i can't even remember why they are fighting for.
The history is about a quarter yokai, during the day a normal nice human and at night can swith to night-form, it's a pretty rough resume but just so see if you like it.
Another one is Kekkaishi, quite nice too, the begining is just they creating kekkai to exterminate ayakashis, but is geting better and better.
Maybe is Urooboe Uroboros, i can't remember if he was nerd or not, but he was a legendary fighter and omited this, and he used something like a t-shirt or a tatto with a sneak biting it's tail.
The draws were from Obata Takeshi, same as Death Note, so may be that
here's the link:
Interesting manga... never gotten to the 'U' on that site yet
2)Katekyo Ritman Reborn!
4)Lost+Brain(never read this one but seems to be pretty good)
Question about what will happen to international manga after Naruto and Bleach end has been split into it's own thread. Topic continues here.
