Forum News: Vote in the final phase of the Anime Awards 2014
Yes, that was the one I was looking for. A very belated thank you!
Did you enjoy it if you've watched it before? There are tons of other anime I want to watch, but I'm not sure if I should wait on this one or watch it first.
It wasnt bad, a little slow in the middle~
But the Starting drew me in
and the ending knocked me over lol....
I need a anime to watch. I used to watch a ton of anime when I was a kid, but not so much in my adult life. I mostly read manga. But with nothing to read lately, I started watching Tiger & Bunny, and I loved it so much, it renewed my interest in anime in general. So now I am looking for something else to watch.
I'd like it to not be too long. Between 12 and 52 episodes. I'd also like it to be relatively new(within the last few years). I value high quality animation, but don't have an art style preference. I don't prefer one genre over another, but I tend to like stories that balance many elements. Like romance, action, comedy, and drama all in the same show. Also, I think I would prefer it to be an original story and not an adaptation of a manga or light novel, but I am open minded to anything good.
If anyone knows an anime that they think I might like, I'd appreciate it if you'd let me know. Thanks
P.S. It's a huge plus if what you recommend is licensed for North America and is available to watch free and legal on streaming sites like Hulu, Crunchyroll, VizAnime, or Funimation. It also wouldn't hurt if it had a good dub.
I know this is an old thread and that nobody posted for a long time in it, but I'm looking for a J-drama and I don't know where found it.
I only watch the first minutes of the first episode some years ago, I think it was in may 2009. The plot was about a guy, who was a journalist or something like that. His boss send him to different parts of Japan to cover different misteries or strange episodes. And now, the part I watched: we're in a traditional japanese village. It's night and suddenly, a woman wearing a kimono goes to a house and kills another woman in a kimono 8I think she was playing an instrument). Then, we see the protagonist going to work. He's late and runs. The last thing I saw was him in the office with his boss, talking about something and looking at a map.
Sorry, I don't have more data but I hope you could help me.
I have been searching for this cartoon/anime for a long time. I watched it as a kid and loved it. And since I didnt know the name (I wasnt good in arabic back then) I didnt know which cartoon/anime it was. I have finally found some pics of it with the arabic name. Here's the link with the pcs and the name
Also the OP theme
But I still cant find the english name or the origin of the cartoon. I am so close...Would appreciate it if someone can point me to the right direction? Thanks.
Well with the limited amount of time I had to check this out, I couldn't find anything that would really please you, but if I were to believe translations, it would be called "2020 Boy"

Found it. Its called 2020 Space Wonder Kiddy. Thanks
In this MAD what is the series that is at 2:40-2:53?
Hiiro no Kakera, according to the title written in the bottom right.
OK, you know I have a thing (not really a fetish, nor explicitly sexual) for younger boys and I'm 20 years old. I'm not talking about shotacon, but the kind of barely present age differences as are between Clare and Raki or Hope and Lightning before their timeskips. AFAIK this kind of relationship doesn't even have a name in Japan where it would be acceptable so it isn't seriously considered as a complex (ie, the bit in Negima! where she points out that no one will care about her dating Negi once he's at middle school and she'll be university aged).
So I want to know animanga with that kind of age gap, where he's in his earlier teens (I like middle school boys) and she's a few years older but no older than her early twenties.
'ello there, folks,
I might be in the totally wrong section here, but I am looking for Anime that have Music and Comedy as central topics.
Just a few days ago I stumbled over K-ON!, absorbed the Manga, the Anime and the movie, and after heartbrokenly realizing that the Manga has - for whatever reason - ended, I am now looking for more stuff like that.
Thank you so much!
PS: No Harem/Ecchi, please. Thankies
Looking for something new to watch. Any ideas from our glorious Gantz community?
I've seen all of the somewhat obvious ones like Berserk, Hellsing and Gantz
Haven't been watching anything in years so if you know of any awesome ones from like 2010 onwards let me know!
Or even just discuss what you like. Doesn't matter if they're a little slow-paced because I watch them at 2x the normal speed anyway.
One thing I knew is that this manga I like, Btooom!, recently got an anime adaption. I would definitely say it's a lot more similar to Battle Royale than anything else. So, I suppose if you liked Battle Royale, this could be a series for you to look into. It's certainly no way near as gory or mature as Gantz and similar animes. Otherwise, I would suggest Elfen Lied as it seems to fit under the Seinen topic.
