Since I was asked for a translation of the 8th movie's novel by Newkerzy, here's the thread. I'm still not English native speaker, I'm still dyslexic, I still have a crappy English grammar and I'm nowhere near fluent in Japanese. If you spot any mistake, you're welcome to report. ^^; Plus, this is the first time I attempt anything this long, I don't know how fast I'll deliver the next chapter nor if I'll make it to the end.
Also, for those who haven't read the 8th movie's thread, this novel is interesting because both Kishimoto and Higashiyama are credited as author, Kishimoto always first (althought it may be because of the Japanese kana order, "ki" comes before "hi") and Kishimoto recommanded Higashiyama (with whom he wrote the Jiraiya novel) to write the movie script and the movie novel.
Without further ado, here's the translation:
Naruto - Hoozuki no Shiro, the castle of the winter cherries / Blood Prison
Kishimoto Masashi / Higashiyama Akira
The flowers are setting the castle ablaze, with the sorrow of their demon lamps, plagued by the red truth, soaked with the blood of the truth.
Mui, 無為 [inactivity], the lord of the Hoozukijou.
Maroi, マロイ [fragile], mysterious prisoner.
Ryuuzetsu, 竜舌 [dragon tongue], mysterious shinobi.
Muku, 無垢 [purity], Mui's son.
Uzumaki Naruto [whirldpool maelstrom], Shinobi from Konoha-gakure.

Funny how last night I dreamed that you already opened this thread. But....... where's the translation???? *pouts*
Do you have an ETA for the first one??? (Sorry, getting impatient here)
Where is the translation??
ONe question are you only translating this because it's like a light novel with only words or does this have pictures like a manga?
I can help out with the translation if it's needed...I have some nice amount of time on my hands these days
