Battle of the Fangirl Magnets
Location: On top of Dome in HM
Starting Distance: 100 meters
Starting State: Captains - Bankai, Espada - R1
Knowledge: Captains already know Espada can preform Cero Oscuras
State of Mind: In character
Restrictions: Ulquiorra's Second Release
Bonus Scenario: No restrictions
Team Espada win with difficult Ulruquira takes care of hitsuga no problem throwing his lanza will destroy his strongest attack grimmjows will keep byakuya at bay and maybe even give him a run for his money
I shall also go with Team Espada winning with relative difficulty.Ulquiorras's Lanza will most certainly do some major damage to both Hitsugaya and Byakuya (the are affected by the lanza is huge),also Grimmjow in his released form will prove to be quite a problem for both captains, since Grimmjow is a melee fighter which doesn't cope well with neither captain's Bankai's.IMO Grimmjow and Ulquiorra are a deadly combination.
Lanza Del Relampargo is restricted presumably, Ulquiorra has not shown that he can use it in his first release and his second is invalid here. Lanza de Luna by comparison is pretty much just an energy weapon he's used in both forms and actually is valid, though it doesn't explode like at all (Though he can throw it and make more obviously).
That said if the second release were allowed I'd probably give it to the espada. Even if Lanza's aim is garbage, using it as a CQC weapon would make things very tricky. As it stands however Ulquiorra cannot break out of HH in his first release at all, that's the form he's DEFINITELY weaker than Harribel in, and does not have the edge against Ice Harribel has in the first place. And Grimmjaw's not wonderwiess. Assuming he can hit him with it (Which isn't as hard as it likely sounds, you have to avoid mass amounts of goddamn snowflakes, that's like trying to run through the rain and not get wet), Hitsugaya actually has a means by which to take him down reliably. That one probably goes to Hitsugaya, though if he didn't have knowledge of CO, I'd probably rate it closer and harder to tell.
Byakuya vs. Grimmjaw is trickier, but suffice to say Grimmjaw is the least impressive of the espada bar #9, and most of his attacks are laughably easy to avoid provided you see them coming (The only rough one is the claw pellet things he fires, and the area they cover is tiny even if the damage they do is almost decent). His only real option is CQC, and good freaking luck with that if Byakuya plays defensively with the first state. It'll require some good Kido use to keep him bloody still long enough to get some decent hits in and STAYING THE HELL OUT OF SENKEI but yeah if he can damage Yammi, albeit not well admittedly, Grimmjaw doesn't stand a good chance defending. Really a matter of time.
Captains take it. Now if R2 was allowed, the espada take it.
Well Ulquiorra R2 is unquantifiable and the extents of his powers is pretty much speculation that various greatly on the readers.
Since there is the restriction of R2 and the battle pic only shows R1, in that scenario Captains can take it with high-dffiuclty.
Can go either way, honestly.
Hitsugaya by common sense and logical deduction should defeat R1 Ulquiorra, but translating that using feats isn't going to go down so smoothly. His speed, destructive, and strength feats are relatively inferior, and the only thing he has going for him is Hyoten Hyakkaso - something R1 Ulquiorra isn't likely to give him a chance to do, because:
1.) He only did so with Ichigo because he always had a interest in Ichigo's Hollow powers and development
2.) He was already aware of Ichigo's GT being his 'strongest' technique, and wanted to compare the two.
Now, for the highly controversial topic of Byakuya vs Grimmjow, I believe the latter takes it. Sorry - but Grimmjow's speed feats are both more viable and impressive, and his destructive and physical strength outranks Byakuya. Only way I can see Byakuya possible taking it is by utilizing all one thousand swords to pierce Grimmjow - though that's not likely given the mindset.
Released Grimmjow arrives to help R1 Ulquiorra defeat Hitsugaya. They win high difficulty.

A really tough one to call. Grimmjow may be the weak link and Team Captain can exploit it. If they do, they have good chance of winning. This battle is more competitive than it looks.
Grimmjow can - with his speed - get into the 'No damage zone' of Byakuya's bankai and easily outmatch him in CQC. Hitsugaya has a habit of using his ice shield to defend from blows, but a large enough Cero from Ulquiorra could probably break through, regardless of if Hitsu attacks first or not...
But I completely agree with Ulq vs Hitsu, I think Hitsu's ice and AOE attacks could be destroyed by Ulq's reiatsu weapons, ofc Hyoten Hyakkaso is kinda different. But Hitsu couldn't win against Harribel (one number higher) even with help, so... Ulquiorra is IMO too complex to get beaten by any of those two. He has Ceros, Luz de la Luna, Speed, Regeneration, strenght and brains.
SO IMO Espada wins, not easily, but wins.

Captains for basic reason , Hitsugaya and Byakuya both can combine their abilities to win this, their abilities suit way better for teamwork . They can use their bankai/kidou for both defend and atack at the same time and cover their weaknesses . Their power would be cumulative ,not like Grim and ulq . Grimm and ulqi seems the same type fighter , they both possess some speed feat and range cero like energy atack . They can't combine their abilities like hitsu and Byakuya can . And I really don't think grimm and ulq could speed blitz hitsu and byakuya , they are surely lose most of the fighting scenario at here so I will go with captains with or without restriction...
By powerscaling and ulquiorra's hype of the top 3 espada Toshiro beats Ulquiorra. Though Ulquiorra should be able stall him for a while meanwhile Grimjoww beats byakuya. Grimjoww then comes to aid ulquiorra and they should be able to beat him together.
