Well apart from reading manga, mainly go out with friends (eating, drinking, cinema...). I was offered a card to Beaubourg, so I try do go there at least once a month.
And I also make mahjong tournaments sometime.
Now I want one
Have you read Emma?
Argh I was kicked out of mangahelpers for one long day !!!!! It felt horrible but now I'm back home. OUF !
I'm not to worry for you, Doroku, continue your great job and you will have more badges than me in no time :-)
And I haven't started Emma yet unfortunatly. I will try to read the French version, so far only one big volume (2 tankobons is out) but I will try it for sure.

A little week-end in Lille, north of France. There are contemporary art exhibitions at the moment which are almost free.
But beside "culture", you mainly go there to eat french fries and drink beers !! I tried the only French bar which is in rate beer ranking. They have delicious local beers which are worth the trip
Is there any cultural explanation why the horse was red, in particular? What did the artist wanted to express with it? Also I'm interested in finding out why is its tongue hanging from one side. Any explanations?
It's a dead horse, or is he alive ? You can see more of the horse and other Theo Mercier works in the video of this link.
Mercier's work makes you wonder if indeed there is life after death. The ghost family was quite funny ~ their shades made me think of a family going to the beach ; the horse without skin and rotting flesh was not a pretty sight, though.
Soundsuits by Nick Cave, on the other hand...I simply love recycled art
have a look at this...amazing Van Gogh recycled wannabe
didn't know you were the "cultural" type of guy...I approve!

Dom, do you mean something like this:
Bonne année à tous !!
I hope your 2013 starts as good as mine :
The breaker - perhaps?
