It's actually not true. People aren't complaining, because they just want to, but here it's obviously an error to change or throw out some manga parts and at some point even change the plot and pace of events. It's totally different from inserting or not inserting to filler parts.
I don't complain about animation quality. It was quite good, but still anime isn't only about quality, but it also should follow manga.
This episode is good.
It created something the manga lacked, real suspense and the anime did this the right way.
I'm sure someone that doesn't read the manga will be really interested in this arc just by this episode.
Tbh, when I was reading the manga up to this point, I was..bored. But this episode changed my view of this arc.
Ginjou and tsuki is creepy and different from the usual characters of the series, I think the anime did a great job with them.
Riruka and Giriko entrance is actually important as it shows how cold Ginjou is to them,
but I completely forgotten they left it out until I read this thread..so it wasn't significant to the reader (at least to me).
Besides, they had their time last episode.
I can say that this episode made it better than the manga for me.
Pretty decent episode 5/10.
btw: What is the song called when Ikumi beat up all those guys and picked up Ichigo?
Manga sucked so bad during this arc, it's no wonder the anime studio doesn't care
Yeah, the manga lacked suspense until the anime fixed it up by showing everything right away instead of giving the readers as much information as it did to the characters themselves. The arc is good and the anime studio didn't care anyway, they care more about their unfunny jokes and "Shinigami book".
