Yea, Togashi in the intro mentioned something about Monstrous Animals, Rare Species, Buried Riches, Hidden treasures, and World of Demons and Unexplored Lands. I have a feeling that's were Ging was at when he recorded that message for Gon.
My question is anyone besides myself think in the last arc possibly after some years go by Gon's task is to find his father in some foreign land possibly demon inhabited. I'm also wondering if there is such a thing as demons in this story then where are they and what are the differences between them in HxH and Yu Yu Hakusho.
Demon, in Japanese, is often used as a metaphor as opposed to literally. For example there are many species of animal in HXH classified under "Demonic Beasts", but they don't appear to have any connections to actual demons. Here the 'demon' refers to their supernatural nature (ability to talk and presumably superhuman abilities/size). The world of demon is usually a metaphor for 'the great unknown', as opposed to a place inhabited by real demons.
It's a thought. Given as far as arcs go the Chimera Ant arc was unexpected so anything is possible.
I HOPE there is not something as Hell, actually. It would be awesome to see a place in which Nen is everywhere though.
It's more along the lines that Hunters of the highest order have access to other realms so to speak. Which to me is an interesting concept. Not just the whole demon idea but that there could be other places similar to that of Greed Island that's not on a map and according to the general world doesn't exist.
in many situation in the manga togashi refer to them
like with zentru the hunter woman with kurapika with ability hearing
and the nen earser who in greed island and 3rd time i forget it while writtting this post now
Some continent (island continet like oceania) with only manjus would be cool!
