I'll go back three pages to say that three consecutive months of Sket Dance volumes make sense. The last chapter to be released in tankobon format was Ch. 190, and the most recent chapter released is 217. I don't know why Shinohara and the publishers were holding it off for so long. I feel sorry for the tankobon readers.
Based on Murata's twitter, he said that the magical girl picture that he uploaded before was created for a pin-up girl for upcoming Miracle Jump. So, I'm beginning skeptical that the picture is for new serialization.

It is possible to serialize in a bi-monthly magazine. It may not be his only serialization, but then again maybe it will. He has already stated that it will be a serialization not a one shot, there really is no room to debate that fact. And could you please link to the tweet where he says it will be in Miracle Jump? That way one of our many wonderful translators can confirm the information is correct.

It is said he drew the picture for part of a plan on drawing a heroine from finctional manga (like manga in Bakuman). I believe Katsura Masakazu, Oku Hiroya, Minagawa Ryouji, Oh! Great, and Ohtagaki Yasuo have participated in this plan.

It is confirmed that Jojo's Bizarre Adventure will have live-adaptation movie, plus Matsumoto Jun will be main role for a movie.

I remember reading somewhere here that it will also have an anime, have there been any news about it or was it fake?

So this is why Kanou's volume comment was so depressing.

yeah but kanou is totally right with it. i never saw this manga getting more than 100+ chapters. it's a miracle he could do so many with some unexpecting twists. (because they were expected much later)
An interesting lineup. I'm always happy if Toriko is on the cover. And great to see Gintama in second after One Piece. It's really deserved it with the last arc. Nisekoi still seems to be doing very well, TOC wise. Whether it can stay that well as the series goes longer and volumes come out, we'll see.
Not such good news for Harisugawa. And Stars for some reason still hasn't been canceled. Most of the rest is in their average place. It just so happens that this week Sket Dance is high and Beelzebub is low, but those are always switching all over the place.
With HXH's big climax next week, I'm wondering what's gonna happen. Probably just a regular center color. But to hear that HXH is finally going to have a tankoubon come out WHILE IT'S STILL RUNNING IN THE MAGAZINE would really mean something at this point.
So does it mean that Harisugawa ends soon or it's just speculation on its low position ? Anyway a short story for once is nice especially if it ends properly and not because of a cancelation.
Magico seems like it wants to make Kaiten rant predictions fail :-) Well it's quite sad that only mainstream series are successful. But with such a system, it's hard for jump to publish more risky series, whereas they could with all the blockbusters they have at the moment.
Can anyone please tell me the difference between 'Cover','Lead Color Page (Lead CP), and 'Color Page (CP)' ?
I've been observing the TOCs for the past few weeks. What I have noticed is that 'Lead CP' always gets the first slot. But I have also observed TOCs where Lead CPs are different from the series in 'Cover'. Still Lead CP gets the first slot...in some cases, the Cover doesnt get a Color Page at all...and is not placed 1st (Take #7,Gintama for eg.) isn't that weird? For a series which features in a cover to not get a color and not placed in 1?
And about the rankings...All Lead CPs and CPs are not ranked right? What about Cover series which are not CP or Lead CP?Are they ranked?
And another question
If Color Pages are not ranked, then why are they placed randomly? Is it according to the votes they have got in the questionnaire? That means they are ranked right?
Sorry for my long post..
The latest chapter preludes a conclusion, so yes it seems like it will end with the third tank. It was a nice concept, but in the end he made some rash decisions, which moved it much faster than I would have predicted.
Jump Issue #09 announced that Medaka Box will air on TV Tokyo.
According to ohana, Bleach's next arc will take place in an Ice Palace and Esapada's are confirmed to appear! The scans should be up in a couple of hours.
