Woah, totally interesting! Really love the interaction between the characters here, the food maker and how the calm atmosphere was present until Ryuu came in, really quality stuff, I look forward to how his little business can bond people together. Lovely color pages, it's one of those simple yet strong manga.
I've had this manga for a while on my prospects list, after reading the Yamamoto Ear Cleaning Shop oneshot by Kotonoha. Too bad that the release isn't of that great quality (what ever happened to buying the books and scanning them anyway).
I have to read that as well! Even if it is the oneshot. Though the mangaka seems to get a lot of praise winning awards and stuff he really has a unique way of delivering the story and the panels are always kind of dramatic. The reality within them is pretty strong.
There is something a little poetic about each chapter. There is something soulful about these little vignettes, about people from various walks of life coming together through food. I thought that chapter threes stray cat enka singer finding brief companionship through nekomanma was particularly touching. A likable manga, I'm interested in how it will develop.

Chapter 4 is out, not as good as #3 but still a nice read.
