As last year, we were also curious to see what were the choices of the staff members and STARs. The staff members' choice was also Vinland Saga, whereas the STARs have shown appreciation for the art-style and immersive storyline of Blade of the Immortal.

Despite Berserk being the all-time best Seinen series, I'm going to nominate Blade Of The Immortal this year, as the best seinen manga.
Blade of the immortal has a very interesting story. It's pretty dark and sad most of the time, but the mangaka never fails to add some bright moments from time to time. He makes you live in a bloody world where the law of the jungle is everything... A mixture of Savagery, Corruption, Helplessness, Greed, Power, Love and hate... If you haven't read this manga yet, I suggest you to try it out.
I'd like to nominate Zetman for best seinen.
Zetman is about how two heroes came to be, from their early years until... who knows when. It has a captivating plot that resembles that of a book, i.e. mostly slow but steady development, that doesn't leave any detail out. The mood of the story is very diverse, ranging from horror and disgust to joy and happiness, giving off pure human emotion. Finally, it has great and very realistic artwork.
For fans of realism and good, solid plots, this is a must-read.
I nominate Vinland Saga for best seinen.
Realistic historical story set in Viking Age. Yukimura Makoto managed to trustworthily depict Vikings culture and daily lives. Besides perfect setting he tells us the story about revenge of one boy, whose hands are covered by blood of innocents. Emotional realism is incredible. Vinland Saga is full of brutality but Yukimura still manages to make it "sound" like old Nordic sagas.

I'd like to nominate Kokou no Hito for best seinen.
Mountain Climbing is a peculiar topic, an intense passion to which this manga does honor, and more, from the impeccable art to the characters' dispositions.
I nominate Blade Of The Immortal as the best seinen manga.
Great story, great characters, phantastic artwork. Solid quality since the beginning of the manga.

I nominate REAL for best Seinen.
This manga is really inspirational to me and has beautiful artwork.
I nominate 20th century boys for Best Seinen. If I have to present the mangaworld to an adult, I will start with the work from Naoki Urasawa ... and 20th century boys is IMO the best among his work. To me, it's simply the best story you can get in a manga.
I nominate Eden: It's an Endless World by Endo Hiroki for Best Seinen...a captivating plot in a world after a disaster, with spectacular characters and incredible plot twists and wtf moments...
Lots of really deep and human themes are the best trait of this manga though, it's a must read for everyone IMO, especially for Seinen fans
I nominate Sunny by Matsumoto Taiyou as my favorite ongoing seinen title.
I nominate Gantz for Best Seinen
I support Vinland Saga for Best Seinen.
I nominate Unbalance x Unbalance as best seinen.
I nominate Vagabond for best seinen

I nominate Karakuri Circus as best seinen. The manga is extremely under-rated, imho. Despite its awkward artworks that may be uninteresting for some people, the plot is really deep and original. For those who haven't read it, I greatly recommend it.
