"When Hisoka explains his ability to Gotoh, it's a plot to kill his enemy. In other mangas, when someone explains their ability, it's a plot to kill himself."
I really like how in Hunter there's really no unreasonable or unnecessary dialogue during fights. It's not like people take random time out to tell you about their life story, or better yet tell you exactly how you're supposed to beat them.
Yeah, I really like this too. In plenty other shonen manga the fighters explain they're damn techniques to their opponents, giving them all the time and information they need to plan a counter-attack. Hunter x Hunter averts this by having characters being deliberately cagey about their abilities. The example that always sticks in my mind is in the Ant arc, where Killua takes on a whole squad. Since he knows he's being watched, he realises he has to fight them all with his bare hands, not using his electricity or yo-yos. And he still manages to wipe out almost the whole squad.
Ohh, I always loved that of HxH. It has the most believable fights in shounen or seinen.
I definitely love that in HxH. No random/useless talking while fighting.
Yeah you are right... random talking are everywhere except in the fights XD
The cool thing about HxH is that it respects it's readers' intelligence. It doesn't have to explain things a gazillion times like other shonen series.

Welcome vietdung! I hope you feel welcome here. Nowadays I recommend to post better in the chapter discussion for further enjoyment. This thread actually should be closed right now since it doesn't have much else to discuss. I'll keep it open just in case someone bring something new about this subject.
