I was wondering, if the MSs don't get to keep their badges, are they still classified as 1st stringers?
They could be the 1st stringer of MS branch, so who knows.
I like it that Mifune is the head coach. And the American seem to look American to me, judging from my time in college there.
If you mean who is listed as No. 9 and No. 10 on the HS division list, that's Ochi and Mouri. The list is exactly the same as the team the MSers faced except with Tokugawa as No. 4 instead of Ryoga and then Irie as No. 11. Does anyone have any theories on why No. 12-14 aren't shown for the HSers though? Also, who do you expect it to be in the end?
^ Probably the original 12-14.
I'm basically the only one alive on PoT Wikia and it looks all over the place now since I'm not sure whether the MS 1st stringers are even still classified as that.
So, we'll seemingly be getting Tezuka color pages every 65 chapters. http://www.mangapanda.com/new-prince-of-tennis/65/1
Damn, Kirihara ate a fist. And Tohno drags his body around... they don't have wheelchairs nor crutches in Japan?
@Ken, this is Duke's power:
Power - 7: With his boastful superhuman strength, he is the No.1 in terms of Power of the 1st String. In addition, he has a tough enough body that he could endure a 108th Level Hadoukyuu.
Kawamura tanked several of Gin's Hadous before the camp (he had < 3 of stamina very likely), and his best stat is by far power.
What's a bad argument? You were saying Stamina = how many shots the person can endure, I said no, that it very likely depends on it, power and mental.
I think this was mistranslation about 1st year guy in USA team. According to picture there is number 3 not 1. So all three of them are 3rd years.
Atobe chosen team Captain over Yukimura and Sanada eh. Do you know who the no.1 Tennis International team is?

Can we discuss the fcking giant scar that Byoudouin has in his back? Apparently he wasn't a big of an asshole back in the day, until a giant douche destroyed him. It would be great if that guy was USA's number 1, lol.
I've been wondering how he managed to get in on the back. Like, did he turn away from his opponent and the guy just hit him with a shot during points? Or it was an assault like what Byoudouin tried to do to Ryoma.
But yeah, wouldn't even be surprised if Reinhardt caused it.

Oh, Reinhardt is the number 1? He looks like a nice guy... which would make all this even better actually, lol.
I can imagine it something like:
-Opponent hits Byoudouin hard.
-He lands on his 4.
-Opponent does a smash with some kind of cool drive effect that destroys Byoudouin's back.
Man, I've been out of the loop with this series. What happened to Ryoga if Toku is #4 now? And finally, 5 years later but we at the international stage now!
