I'm not sure if this is considered support, but it is a question and a sort of report as well. I received this in my inbox just this morning.
"My name is Halima, i got you from mangahelpers.com and i want to have a good relationship with you, please i need your cooperation, contact me with my email adress,I looked it up and it seems to be a spam sent by some bored person trying to gather email addresses.
( email@example.com )
am yours Halima.
Has anybody received the same message?
A quick Google search reveals that this guy has been doing this on a whole bunch of forums, and MangaHelpers isn't the first. I've banned his account here, hopefully that will prevent more members from getting this email from him.
To all other members, you may want to review your profile privacy settings - clearly setting "registered users" as being able to view your contact info isn't good enough
Do not forget that Private Messages, like posts, can be reported. On the lower left of every PM is an exclamation point in a gray, triangular field. Clicking sends an alert to the admin who can proceed to take the appropriate disciplinary action if needed. Reporting a PM is the quickest method for dealing with inappropriate PM's including solicitation. It is also the most private: reports are only visible to site administrators.
