I nominate Caribou. He's a logia rookie with 210 million beri bounty. And yet he fails miserably killing the Straw Hats, subdueing Mermaids, the Mermaid Princess and stealing the treasures - and in the end he's a weakling only working for someone else.
And that guy was considered "Straw Hat nakama material"?
Yea his bounty was mostly based on the fact that he was a ruthless pirate. Sorta like a crappy version of Eustass Kidd. Though i think if he fought nami or usopp they would surely find his weakness. I doubt at this point the whole crew minus luffy still get curb stomped by logia's.
Yeah, I support Hyouzo. Oda did this foreshadowing, I don't know what the hell happened.
I support Hyouzou, I can't agree that a Fleet Admiral (Akainu or Sengoku) is overrated.
Mihawk, hes a great swordsman but is nothing compared to the big pirates.
Sorry, but... I just don't see how Hyouzou is overrated. Yeah, he got some hype in the manga for a few chapters, but soon afterwards he was beaten by Zoro really easily. And that very reason made fans hate him because they expected to see an awesome battle featuring Zoro for the first time post-timeskip, and instead they got a really lame one which barely made Zoro flex a muscle (that fight has been nominated for Worst Battle by loads of people). So he's hardly overrated by readers, either.
he was overrated by oda. well... at least until his fight against zoro.
on a side note i want to say i'm tempted to nominate coby after seeing people who expect him to become a vice admiral now. but i will go with hyouzou anyway.

I think Drakul Mihawk is the most overrated character: just because he is the strongest swordsman, people think he is higher than admirals and than emperors, but that just mean he is the best one in using swords. don't forget he is just a shichibukai...
For me it´s definitely Moria, him being a Shichibukai with a former bounty of 320 mil was way overrated, especially in comparison to the other warlords.
I like the character, but... goddamit. So overrated.
