Mímir 'Mio' Hoenir
Son of Bor and Bestla, descendant of the old God with the same name, Hoenir(Mio) was said to have been bestowed godly powers - the power to control other creatures. For this he has been hunted all his adult life, ever since the king of Sumer got assassinated by his successor who denounced the old faith and started massacring those who wished not to convert. Everyone Mio knew since his childhood, including his family, has been killed. He, sworn to do anything to avenge his family now seeks the wisdom buried deep within the castle libraries. Wisdom that will help him get the revenge he so desperately wants and put himself to rest after almost thirty-five years of kill or be killed even if it means wiping out the entire castle population, all its beasts and mother Earth herself.
Mio is a quiet man who trusts no-one. He shows no emotion as it could be used against him but he still feels them. He has accepted killing as a part of his life but it does not amuse him. He is a very zealous person who prays every day and he accepts everything that happens as he believes the Gods have a reason behind it. He believes that the reason he survived the onslaught was so that he could take revenge. He has a hard time accepting companions and will not think twice to deceive them if it will be for his own benefit. Has a horribly dry humor.
A two handed sword, forged by one of the Vanirs, stolen by Thiassi and reclaimed by the Aesir Gods Haenir(Hoenir). Passed down in generations and given to Mio on his tenth nameday. Glows white and becomes stronger the longer it stays with its wielder (creates a bond). Currently one of the stronger(st) swords in the kingdom due to its bond with Mio. The sword is one of the eleven Vanir swords still intact and was forged as number five.
Beast : Raven called Huginn that flies around the world, gathering information for Mio, not used in battle for other reasons than giving useful information about his foe or the surroundings.
Nothing so far.

I love the fly connection, certainly I will leave the door open a few days if some want to join, but if no one does we are starting mate.
Heh yea, also tried to take some lore from the Norse myth (names) as well as pre-Babylonia (Sumer).
Sure, If no-one enters by like, end of this week we could roll just the two of us, show them how it's done and it'll be filled with people by the end of the next week
Hm, since we are two now, we can discuss starting the whole thing whenever, since I will pace the story slowly we get kick off tonight, that way we will not be inside the castle when people decide to join.
I've been in love with Norse and pre-babylonia myths since forever. It's so, so cool and interesting and awesome and all that. Plus, reading that you realize that, for example both GRRM and Tolkien took an immense amount from them and it just makes it so much cooler! :3
Hohoho, have you read Epic of Gilgamesh?
Anyway, off-topic matters aside (we'll take it in either one of our threads ) who will your character be? Or will you only be the game master? Regardless, sure we can kick off tonight. =)
