Forget about the long stuff . . . just ask whatever you want in here. I'm OK with anything.
I might be weird sometimes (am bipolar . . . or you can just think of it as I have really weird, extreme mood swings sometimes), but at least I can answer you if you have any question . . . >_>"
PS. Am imperfect with English, so pardon me for my bad grammar . . . -_-"

ne....where do I get the first few chapters of Tales of Abyss and Kingdom of Hearts II ??? O_O
For Tales of the Abyss, well, there is a scanlation group called Wings of the Angel who did the first chapter. And the rest, as you seen. - -"
Come to think of it, I already got 5 translations, but still didn't feel like having a personal forum. - -"
so there are thai scanlations too?? i thought that there wasnt even enough interst to arouse any interest since there are weekly magazines like BOOM where the chapters arent that far behind the current chaps..
then i was thinking...how u would come up with the translation for the character names and moves etc since i find mangas in thailand having lame sounding names for those(just like thai version of the anime themes)...
PS: i dont think it's cos the standard of english in thailand is ''LQ'', just that the thais just dont wanna try/bother doing anything that they assume to be more troublesome.. 55+
niway..keep up the gd work kub..maybe you can work for viboonkij or other of those publishing companies and speed up the release of certain mangas.. =)
As for character names and attack names, they are quite easy. Character names, go with whatever is nearest to the Japanese name, in another word ทับศัพท์ไปเลย, that's what I do. As for attack names, I go with mostly what C-Kids use (which can be confusing. Example, I recall that C-Kids actually translate the Rokushiki into more than one name each. If that's the case, I go with the one people know of most, like Rankyaku is เท้าวายุ, Geppou is เดินชมจันทร์) And if the attack names are out in Thai ones yet, I take the kanji and try to come up with the name for it. Mostly though, I will put those names in parenthesis, and the Japanese reading as a real attack name, since the Thai name is only like a reference so that those that read only Thai comic so far did know which attack am I talking about.
Truly speaking, I don't think I'm interested in translating for a certain company. I begin translating out of what is frequently request by Thai manga readers. That's how I began translating One Piece as my first work 3 years ago. Those companies didn't need translators that badly as well, plus I got tons of school works to do, so I am not interested in doing it that way. ^_^"
Anyway, thank you for posting. It's kind of rare to see Thai people in English forums in many way, but I'm happy to meet you.

Wow you're from Thai?! Nice~ Is Japanese pretty popular to learn in Thailand? or are you rare for actually studying it? I'm very impressed you're able to translate into two languages, one being your native tongue and the other being a foreign language.
Anyways thanks for posting . There is nothing wrong with it, and we appreciate you taking your time out to translate .
Also, you state that you'd like your op trans checked... I could, if you want? :3
Yep, I'm from Thailand. Well, it is indeed quite popular. I know quite a few Thai people who are learning Japanese as well. ^_^"
Though, the only computer available for me for typing Japanese in in my laptop computer (which doesn't have internet access - -"), so I probably will just type English. And, yep, it would be of great help to have to check my translation, since I can say, my Japanese isn't strong, but I'm trying to get better. If no one correct me on my translation, I believe my learning of the language will be a bit harder, since there is a very high tendency that I will just repeat my mistake over and over since I don't know that I'm wrong. So, I will really want someone to check my translations. ^_^
Yoroshiku Onegaishimasu~! ^o^
i guess the world's gettin smaller and smaller indeed
เอาวะ สู้ๆ がんばれ to all ur hard works...props on that
Wow three languages! That's so cool! But I have to ask, do you play Tales games?
Yep. I've played Tales of the Abyss, Tales of Destiny (PS2) and Tales of Symphonia, which are the only three I cleared the game. As for now, I'm playing Tales of Destiny 2 (PS2), Tales of Legendia and Tales of Eternia (PSP)
I began to think that the one that I encountered the most problems with is not really the Japanese now though. It's the English. Because I translate things in Thai easily when I find it hard to make an English translation out of it, even though it is the same one, meaning the problem is with my English. Got to go learn the grammars and vocabs more, I think. >_<"
Actuallly, your english sounds really fluent to me. Where did you learn it?
And what manga series are you reading now?
By the way, here's wishing you a Happy Birthday!
Hope you had a great one!
I just pick up Fairy Tail, 666 Satan and Embalming and currently am thinking of a way to find Tales of Innocence. (Embalming and Tales of Innocence are the only two manga in Jump SQUARE that I'm very interested in. Embalming . . . well, I'm downloading the RAW right now, but my guess will be that Tales of Innocence, just like other Tales of series manga I've read, will be hard to find even if it is in Jump SQUARE) Other than that, I am reading One Piece, Bleach, Fullmetal Alchemist, Hunter x Hunter, Tales series manga and Kingdom Hearts series manga. ^_^"Quote:
Just one small note: I'm now temporary translator for One Piece, because the webmaster of the forums I'm doing the translation for said that he wants to build up his skill and he is going to do One Piece translation from now on (and I will only translate when he said he got some business to attend to and can't come to translate it). For Bleach, I'm assigned to do Bleach translation on the third week of the month only. So, I picked up 3 new series to translate: Fairy Tail, 666 Satan and Embalming (and maybe Fullmetal Alchemist, I must look at the situation first, because I don't think there is any active Thai translator doing FMA, which is quite surprising). For Fairy Tail and 666 Satan, I am already planning to do the Thai translation for those, starting next week for Fairy Tail and as soon as the new RAW comes out for 666 Satan. Embalming, I'm pretty sure I'm going to translate it, but still unsure whether I should do English or Thai. And as soon as I find some steady source for Tales of Innocence RAW, it will go into my Tales series manga translation cycle to be translated into English (I can't find Thai readers. Because of that, I don't really translate Tales series manga into Thai)
Thank you~! ^0^Quote:
I just changed my first post. After looking around, I'd realized that I didn't introduce myself at all while I'm supposed to be doing so. - -"

I've got a question about a Thai name.
In the latest chapter of History's Strongest Disciple, Kenichi, a Thai character has been introduced. His name is rendered as ティーラウィト・コーキン; would Tirawit Kokin be a reasonable romanization?
