Wu Geng is obviously going to escape the technique at the end of the chapter by using his smelting aura to cover his whole body with a type of patina, so that the decaying aura will not touch his skin.
His smelting aura will be strong enough to protect him, showcase his growth, and amaze the sage gods of his abilities.
I believe these battles will end in retreats by the gods rather than outright defeats.
Next chapter out... it's getting packed with bigshots. I guess the only bigger fish who could arrive next is Tian himself...
I'd like to see some more punches between Wu Geng and that Sake God, but maybe they'll come in the next chapters.
I'm liking very much the pages about the new powers making its appearance:
Only thing I don't like much is the characters used in the titles. I wonder if the Chinese ones have the same bloody stile.

What will Shi Xin do? I would like something good happened to him.
Anyone else thinks Ah Lan is an spy of the Fallen Gods?

2 chapters this week: http://egscans.org/feng-shen-ji-s2-14-15-2/
A very interesting chapter. That flashback was really useful, we needed to learn more about the Dark Ones and we finally did. At first the story of Nitian Erxing was a little bit simple and cliche but then the last page really surprised me because Nitian seems to be turning to stone.
I guess that's one of the main reason why he covered his body up to his mouth later on.
I also want to thank EGS Scan for giving us those 2 chapters. It's really appreciated!
You should be right about the mask. And yes, that last moments of the brother's wife turning in to stone was good to see.
Looking forward to see what happens next.
Actually what surprised me more than the wife turning to stone was Nitian turning to stone haha. I remember when i was reading it, i thought the last panel was about the girl dying then i saw the one under and was really shocked.

Ah Lan will finally get asked the reason why she betrayed the fallen ones. I was really expecting the Sage Gods to kill Ah Lan on the spot, I mean they believed her so easily and just brought a potential enemy in the God's domain but Shen Yen isn't as stupid and the first thing he does when they're back in the god's realm is to get everything straight with Ah Lan.
Nothing else really happened during this chapter, we've got to know a bit more about Erxing's past and his petrification.
Oh i forgot to mention that Shi Xing is a werewolf.
I like the pace of this series a lot, the author doesn't waste time, and he can convey anything about main characters and side characters too in just a few chapters...
I'm looking forward to next week, to see what Ah Lan has to say
