So it seems that both Toriko and Komatsu lost. And it looks like that Shuu guy can predict his oponents movements or sense them. If it is something similar to Mantra from One Piece... well, then if Toriko manages to learn this he will become a real monster.

^^^I was thinking the same thing. It's either Mantra/Haki from One Piece or its like (not sure how many Gamaran readers are here) the training that Gama got on a certain mountain. He learned how to not show any pre-signs of any of his moves
What's really interesting is that Shuu also used Knife, which looks different from Toriko's. So maybe, rather than Toriko just learning Spoon, he might also learn different versions of Knife and Fork, like Carving Knife, Steak Knife and/or Cleaver (I don't really know if there are different names for other kinds of forks).
That's a great idea!
I didn't think about it, but you might be right! According to food etiquet you should use different types of forks, spoons and knives when you eat different types of food, so it might be also right for Toriko.
Chapter is out on mangareader.net!
So Shuu is saying here:
That after mastering Food Honour Toriko will make his techniques more efficient, to the point, where he only uses 1/20 of kalories he used before for the same moves. Also his moves will improve several times in every department - strength, speed, accuracy.
Komatsu also seems to get some training. I think he might learn how to use his knife better and with this he might also use it to fight. It might make him not that useless. At least he might protect himself from low-level beasts.
I really like the idea about Toriko having different levels of "knife" and "fork"...the Carving Knife, Steak Knife, Cleaver, etc. and Salad Fork, Carving Fork, Pitch Fork, etc. Then when he learns spoon on top of that...he's gonna be a beast. Toriko has the potential to get a lot from this training.
And so does Komatsu. It made me think back to the beginning of the Century Soup arc when Komatsu and Toriko first went to Setsuno's shop and Komatsu was amazed and how fast she was preparing the meal and doing the work of 7 or 8 people. I think Komatsu will be really close if not at that level after this training. And of course I think that will translate to the battlefield. I can see Komatsu cutting certain points on a wild beast, taking away its movement, before it even has time to attack (like cutting tendons or something like that).
