The "Contraband Game" is a game of team play. Two teams face off against each other. The "Northern Country" and the "Southern Country". In this game, it is your job to smuggle money out of the opposing country, while preventing money to be leaked out of your own.
Good, I think I mentioned everything. There's not much left to add anyway. If I can give you just a few tips for the upcoming game. This may sound obvious, but make sure you have someone one your team who will count your money. I'm serious, I will post the result of the smuggle attempts but I'm not gonna mention whether a team bought the dealer/officer. Believe me, it will be a lot easier if you have someone like that on your team. Next, the rules state that this CB game will last for 10 games, or(!) until one team has successfully smuggled all their money from the opponents country. If you look at it from another POV it means that if a team has run out of money they lose. What I mean is that this game could possibly end a lot sooner than you expect and not even reach 5 games if played out correctly. And my last tip for all future players would be: "There are a lot more possibilities for bluffing in this game than you might think at first glance. Keep that in mind when planning your strategy."
That's it. I hope you'll have fun playing this game, keep it clean, respect your fellow players and may the best team win!
I need to get familiar with the rules first.
Awesome game (atleast was in Liar Game) but awfully complicated,I'll need to study the rules in more detail before I can decide wheter I have the needed time or not.
Okay I am in.
tl;dr whats the concept?

Contraband Game 1
(start 15-16th april)
no have not. thus asking.
The rule text in the mafia game are twice as long evil...why you complaining?
And what would be the point in asking questions? It's not like the smuggler is gonna tell you how much money he is carrying or anything.

And here I thought every FF'er has been reading Liar Game
Actually this one really is lot more complex than mafia. As in the core of the game. The roles, the avatars are just extra, surface of the game that sometimes confuse a new player, but really the game is the same without them. Contraband deals with (big) numbers and the opening post does feel the content of the SMuggler/Inspector interaction a little vague.
Not that Contraband is awfully diffucult either, and is also based on guessing, but I do think it is tad bit more complex than mafia.
Truth is, I copied 90% from the original series' explanation because I felt that'd be the easiest way to understand it for a newcomer. I'm thinking more and more for making a demonstrational game before the real one.
