Having a brand new series on SJ Alpha would be great, though it seems unlikely that they would chance it on an untested series from an author that isn't exactly a hit maker.
I could see them doing it just to test out the idea for future series.
Shounen Jump Alpha is actually very fertile grounds to introduce new series, when I'm thinking about it.
It's digital, and it's subscriptions-based. All they need to do is put the first chapter in Alpha (as a "preview") and poll the readers. If it polls well, it goes. Even if it's cancelled in the real Jump, that kind of practice can only help Alpha since the series polled good enough to be translated.
And I doubt the amount of votes would be significant enough, but they could take it a step further and use the English polls alongside Jap ones when deciding whether to cancel it or not. It's one step further to globalization of manga.
I think that's been mentioned before, but the English-speaking audience doesn't affect sales much, so I don't think it'd really be the deciding factor of the thing getting canceled.
ohana won't be posting the TOC until tomorrow. It seems like something happened at the store where she usually buys Jump from.Quote:
Hopefully Heiji, T, or some random person will upload the TOC tonight.

Jump Issue #26 TOCQuote:

Beelzebub (Center Colour)
Pajama na Kanojo

It seems like the guy who did the Welcome to the Competetive Dancing Club oneshot and Onani Master Kurosawa will have a short 3 chapter serialization starting from next issue onwards.

Well Reborn! is out of the bottom 5 but now Bleach is in the bottom 5 along with Kurogane. >.>^ I really wonder if they purposely keep Bleach low for some reason as its rank has been fluctuating like crazy lately.
Anyways my own lamenting aside, the rankings are good except for Haikyuu because I have no idea what it is or why its so popular. At least right now as a rank 5 now becomes rank 16 easily.....
The new series are now in the manga. I hope they do well and add more diversity to the magazine. Sensai no Bulge sounds interesting to me.
HQ is doing great!
