Chapter 20 arrives. http://www.mangareader.net/haikyu/20
Thanks again for Spoilers. Can anyone give me the links of RAWS?
I didn't follow this series from the begining, since Jump has had many crapy sports manga recently and I wasn't expecting much from it, but finally we get a quality sports manga which is realistic, has good humour and isn't just about the sports itself, but instead has a nice character development, which is its strongest point for me. Its story reminds me a bit of Eyeshield 21. The special art also works well, it's good to have a bit of change, which is why I think Haikyu is definitely one of the most refreshing manga in Jump (it's nice to have different things in sports manga for once). So far it hasn't disappointed me and I hope it keeps being an enjoyable and fun read, and I'm glad it's quite popular in Japan too. Still, I'm worried it might lose it's freshness and become boring if it stays for too long, but I have confidence in it and if the series is managed well it won't happen. Anyway it's very promissing.
Does anyone know where I can get the raw from the first chapter?
I'm really curious about next chapter. If I'm not wrong the very high rank HQ had in the TOC last week should be around this one
If it's the one with the extra pages, it should be Chapter 27 (which was quite humorous). I wouldn't be surprised if it kept it up, seeing how we're going into the actual match now. I'm looking forward to this week's chapter, everything's unpredictable at the moment.
Two chapters in two days and two good chapters with some great character development. You can clearly see that a team spirit is being produced. They look up to each other and each player is strengthening another player.
I don't care what anybody says, this week's chapter is undoubtedly the best chapter in the series so far. The suspense, action, art, panel layout, and even the amusing ending, was just superb. I'm so glad whoever lost actually lost, was so worried the author was going to do an asspull and do a "nakama power up" thing after seeing last week's cliffhanger. Roll on the next arc~!
For the record...
This manga is WOW.....
With every chapter I read I fell more and more in love with it.The art is amazing and the story is superb, its just unreal
BTW chapter 30 have just been released if you guys want to check it out .
Agree, each new chapter, I like this manga more
Hinata's growth might be too late for this game but it will become an asset upcoming games for sure. It allows kageyama to bring more variety in his tosses to Hinata and blockers will take in account Hinata more than before, which will give asahi (?) more freedom.
The art is nice when the mangaka draws the facial details etc
40 chapters in and i am loving every single moment in this manga. i dont know if furudate had any experience in volleyball or did extensive research, but he managed to put a very solid story. he doesnt even go for absurd special attacks. usually the way to go like kurogane or even kuroko.
characters r certainly interesting and also relatable which makes you wonder about them. i am actually w8ing for the reason why tsukishima is the way he is. what happened to him? he has a problem with elites (i will say he is 1 too but...)
art style is also very good. he makes the facial expressions hillarious. also in the matches he goes for the best way to highlight the action.
hopefully he can keep up his stories and we will have another great sports hit on our hands. i was w8ing for this since slam dunk.

well i just read the 41st chapter and i am calling it. Nishinoya is the best character in this manga by far. i liked him since his inception but today with this chapter no1 can come close to him.
