Raki has become very strong during the time skip, strong enough to kill a yoma without much effort. What would happen if he fought Clare from Chapter #1?
Location: The place where Raki killed the yoma.
- The fight will be to the death, Raki and Clare will not know each other and their feelings will not get in the way.
- Clare is allowed to release 10% of her yoki.
Clare of course, need i say why?
Never mind im gonna say it anyway, the main reason Claymores were created is because they are much stronger than any human. renee even said that the power to kill a yoma isn't that uncommon among humans, i bet even galk can kill a normal yoma, and yet he was much weaker than clare...

Clare is a claymore and Raki is still just a human. So yeah Clare would win.
hehehe it's quick and simple - Clare kills Raki in an instant.
Raki has a scent of Priscilla - Clare greatest enemy. Clare doesn't have to see him - in the moment she feels it (the scent or maybe a bit of Priscilla's yoki on him), she uses windcutter and we've got game over
Ha windcutter! she can probably kill him with her pinkie
Clare doesn't have Windcutter technique in this fight, this is the Clare Raki will be fighting with, Clare from Chapter #1. Clare was #47, the weakest claymore at the time and it took a bit of time for her to defeat the yoma who was pretending to be Raki's big brother.
Right - I forgot that
But she fought 5 yoma at once, so one human with big sword, trained by the strongest Abyssal One isn't a problem for her
The Clare in chapter one actually didn't fight 5 yoma at once. The Clare in chapter one could at best have handled one or two at a time. It wasn't until later after a few trials and tribulations that she was able to do that. Actually Raki time skip vs Clare would actually be a fairly good contest. The reason is that Isley trained Raki in a manner that makes him accustomed to fighting non human enemies, who are stronger and faster then he is and have some level of shape shifting ability.
The battle with Agatha i think showed the kinds of tactics humans use most often to fight Yoma. Agatha even says herself that it seemed like the Rabona warriors were used to fighting Yoma (a tactic that obviously doesn't work on an AB, let along one as powerful as Agatha was). The tactics used then were based on surprise and attacking critical area's on the Yoma, not about a head to head battle.
Skill wise I would say that Raki is probably about equal in ability to an average low end Claymore who lacked any special abilities. Physically he's proportionately strong and fast enough to keep up with one in single combat. Keep in mind that a plain old Yoma has more impressive abilities then low end claymores tend to have. Since its a battle of who can stab or slice the other in the vitals first as opposed to a DBZ style Energy beam fight, pure power doesn't mean a victory.
Raki might actually be able to beat old Clare (Pre-Rabona incident). He just doesn't have the growth potential she does.
