The vampire was called "Hikawa" in the Gantz/Manual, altough i don't know if that is still canon.
Izumi was an interesting character, i liked him a lot but right now, there is nothing he can add to the story. He is better dead and i hope he stays that way.
True enough. We have plenty of good characters lying around that haven't got a whole lot of attention as it is.
Wouldn't mind seeing some Takeshi chapters to be honest. Might be cool to see him fight any giants left on the ground or even deal with any humans that might try to gang up on the 'terrorist' in order to stay on the giants good side.
His suit has probably regenerated by now. Time to save the world.

Wait...suits can regenerate? Since when? When have we seen that!? Cause that's friggin' awesome, I don't remember seeing that at all and if it's true I can't believe I missed it!
Ed: I'm kinda crunk and I didn't see the 'time to save the world' so damn you if you're being sarcastic cause now I'm all pumped over thinking of that. Bwahaha.
We haven't seen it directly but we know the suit can be restored at least between transfers.
Plus, how the fuck else did Takeshi jump up to the apartment with Nishi?
Just a guess but I would think the suit restores itself, after all it's not like it's truly broken. It just leaks blue shit when under stress.
True enough, there are multiple ways of restoration... But I don't think there's enough evidence to support restoration over time normally, though that's just me. I think the leaking of the blue liquid represents a kind of 'bleed out' similar to if a human bled out; if it happens, you're more than likely dead, AKA the suit is done and you're on your own. In response to Takeshi surviving the fall from "The Apartment", Nishi was embracing Takeshi in his arms; Takeshi didn't even hit the ground, though it looks close. As your comments implies, if the boy had so much as touched the ground from falling at that altitude without the suit's protection he would have been pancake batter.
Well we can't know how it works for sure. I would like to think that the suit will come back to a point where it can function properly again over time, similar to how you would expect the human body to recover over time after exerting itself.
I wasn't talking about Takeshi survivng the fall, I was talking about him climbing up to the 2nd or 3rd floor of a building with Nishi (just before he transfers to the mech).
Kaze was alright. Turned into a bit of a one trick pony lately though. I think we've seen his same two moves at least 5 times each now (either climbing on top of something and pulling it's spine out or that shoulder bash thing he does). Had potential but nothing ever really came of it.
Reika was fine. Looks weird to me with those crazy proportions though at times.
HS always entertained. Shame he hasn't been around. Main complaint about every single character is that they don't get enough screen time. They all have potential imo.
I still miss Inaba. The guy had a whole bunch of faults and issues, but his fear and subsequent conviction during the Italian mission really reinforced the horror of it all.
The chapter is out folks, you can see it here: http://mangatopia.net/main/2012/06/en-gantz-0365/
Thanks as always to mote for the great tl and PotatoBaron for the HQ raws!
Hmm I wonder who Nishi was talking to. Kurono? Takeshi? Another Gantz Man?
