The only thing that shacked my opinion about the guy being Hawkins is that he has a sword and Basil didn't use it before.
Also speaking about the guy with Afro... He doesn't look like Croc as he is too buffed to be him. I don't believe that he had changed to such an extent during the timeskip.
After last weeks Doflamingo build-up, this weeks chapter felt rather anti-climatic. It was decent chapter, but I'm sadly not excited anymore. But it was to be expected. After all this arc is about CC.
The CC vs Nami & Usoppe battle took way to long. Frankly I was surprised that most of the chapter was dedicated to their fight. I would have loved to see more interaction among the guys in the cell. On the other hand I'm surprised to see Brownbeard alive. Maybe I'm pitying him, but I do like this fellow, thus Im glad he is alive. I hope he will play a bigger role in this arc.
The cliffhanger seemed interesting. Oda was clearly foreshadowing new characters. I believe they might appear within this saga, though not sure about BM's guys.
Anyway, Oda as to my prediction:
- My sleep gas theory was crushed! xD
- My anti poison gas theory was a success! xD

Well done Oda! Trolling me by implying the gas-gas DF were only about poison. Just as Luffy, I didn't thought it through.
Although if Oda wants to it will be possible, I don't really expect the interested buyers to see any fight on their screens. The Den Den Mushi seems far away from the island to capture the big explosion.
Anyway in case they will be able to see Luffy fighting then at least he should smash
DonquixoteVergo and not Caesar whom very few know.

I seriously can't imagine Crocodile with an afro
That guy gotta be someone else , maybe a new character
Seeing this broadcast of CC's i'm getting excited at the thought of all those famous "brokers" that might get interested in CC's experiments and at their reactions after Luffy crushes all that This arc will help Luffy gain new enemies , thing that's good . A PK has the most enemies after all

Lol no way that's Crocodile. Anyway I thought this was a good chapter, especially the last page. Awesome idea to have everyone watch the Strawhats take the New World by storm.
Luffy's and Law's alliance would also go public. Awesome way to start the New World.
Betrayal, Betrayal, Betrayal!
(Wowow! I just sit on my office, open my mail, and.... Kabooom... News from PH!!!! No time to read carefully now, just a quick view. Amazing to have there Tomago and BM pirates.)
Is it that Big mom uses to ask every pirate that insult or attack her: "Do you want to work for me"? What a nasty lady?.... Maybe
Or is it that CC, Wergo and Dofla have bussiness with BM? ... Maybe
But, since Wergo and Dofla didn't trust CC and ask Monet to take a look on him, would it be that, that CC fucking bastard is making a doble play and betrayed Wergo, Joker and Monet with BM? ... Maybe
We will have to remember all the time Robin's words: "Along with a pirate alliance comes betrayal". Betrayal is on the main literary motives in Tim Burton film Pirates of the Caribbean, and it could be a new feature in Oda's writting about this wild new world.

The long nose, wine, the cigar and having an afro also fits Capone Bege. But his big body, his mouth and the bystander in the background kinda don't fit.
I'd say the last page was the most interesting bit of the chapter. We know that there are 4 yonkous, one of whom's confirmed representatives are shown in the last page along with 3 others. So my theory is that each of those at the end are allied to one yonkou, it could explain why Kid attacked BM's ships. It would also make sense in a way, CC will undoubtedly want to attract the attention of the most powerful pirates in the world and who better to attract than the Yonkous themselves?
