I've heard a lot of people to claim that she is. With her reaction to Kirito groping her, plus her commander personality (it's not an act, she has gotten tough after getting over the initial hysteria after being told that she's most likely gonna die in a game, although she's not at all a commander outside of her work)
I guess we have a problem of definition. When I compared the (wiki) french definition and the english one, they're a bit different. The French one insists more on the haughty, proud and distant side while the English is more vague with cold and hostile.

Well if it makes any difference to your discussion, I also don't feel Asuna as Tsundere. I'm a fan of Tsundere myself, and I just don't feel it from Asuna.
Asuna is an awesome character though. I quite love her for being so kick-ass and ambitious, and doesn't use her femininity to her advantage like almost all girls in anime.
Although TV Tropes seem to define Asuna as Tsundere as well :/, more on the Dere side, they say, but I just don't agree with it.
Well in the past few episodes she hasn't acted like it, but I definitely thought she was a classic tsundere before the whole full blown relationship thing.
So I just watched Episode 12... Thank you SAO for breaking my heart... And here I thought I never cry again while watching anime since Minatos and Kushinas death... Well played Yui... well playes T___T
A pic from ep 13
