But yeah, it was less suspicious in the LN. I really loved the moment of revelation there. The (first) duel in the anime was veery suspicious, so I get why a lot of people would at least half-expect it, also with a whole week between episodes to think about stuff, and people who already know about it and drop hints here or there.
finally got caught up with this anime.Pretty entertaining, even though has its ups and downs, dont see a point for kirito to helping all these useless people unless its a plot thing and he will form a guild if they play again is what i pressume they ll do?
I don't think so. Lizbeth he just really needed for the sword.
That little girl whose pet died, he felt he had to help because it reminded him of his sister?
And the murder case in the safe zones he was curious about the system.
That time about helping the girl in the Army (going to the dungeon) was because she specifically asked for their help.
Plus, if he's with Asuna, Asuna wants to help everybody and stuff. So he kinda gets tagged along.
I'm no LN reader so I don't know if that's really right, but that's how I understood those sidequests.

Besides, Kirito is one player who doesn't forget that they are real people, so he always thinks of wanting his encounters to survive or something. :/
yea i see what you are saying i also think so i suppose just find it a bit weird like how at begining of anime each ep was focused on someone and then we just suppose to forget about them
Then, after SAO won the 15th Dengeki Bunko LN prize, Kawahara wrote more so we got the sidestories. In the next few days, a chronologically fixed, plus with some extras, version of SAO is going to be released so everything should be clearer through that.
ALO character designs.
so next arc is going to be elf-like? not bad first sword now more magic based?
This anime is amazing in every way. Really liked episode 15, it had so much emotion. I miss Asuna D:
Can someone please tell me where I can find the light novel or if I can buy it in English Translation? I'm hooked on this!
I just downloaded it somewhere just last week. You can find many hosts for it easily.
Kirito breaking down
I thought there would be more in the ep. And the lack of inner Suguha/Lyfa monologues doesn't really make it less ew :|
I think I might have read it wrong in the LN, I thought Sugou already IS adopted and they're gonna get married for real, or was that only changed in the anime?
