I read the first chapter. It was pretty interesting and was a cute little story...but there wasn't really anything that stood out in terms of writing and the art could use a lot of improvement. I
'm pretty sure this is going to the chopping block when it starts getting ranked
I wonder this series going to focus more on romance than action. I, personlly, want this to be more on romance-oriented, since current Jump series don't have romantic-comedy series.
Been growing on me since it started, probably my favorite of the new stuff this round.
Still expecting it to get axed though.
The first chapter is good. So far, I get a "Shonen Sunday feeling" coming from this manga, I don't know why. Maybe it's the art...
Looking foward to what path it'll take.
What I enjoy about Shion is that he starts off as a high ranked sorcerer right from the beginning at such a young age. There's a damsel in distress and he comes to save her. The back and forth flashbacks from present to piece together the story was good writing to me. The cat, Anise, needs more time to shine and I predict she's probably one of those humans turning into a cat because of a spell gone bad, haha.
i really like magico, i read today the 2 chapters and it was good , and specially because it is different from what we have seen from Shonen Jump "lately", at least from what i have been reading. Normally the hero is weak , but on this case Shion is already is a very strong sorcerer and it is also great to see see some romance
Good series, looking foward to what will happen in chapter 3.
I like how this manga incorporates the romance in. It's quite different to the other shounen romance-oriented manga I've seen.
As for the battle scenes, hopefully Emma won't be a damsel in distress and develop some abilities with Ekidona/Echidna. ^^

chapter 3 scan is out
tnx to MRI
Don't wanna get too hyped about the manga before we know where it stands but Shion's turning in to a pretty great protagonist.
liked this chapter and cant wait for more
is going to be interesting to see the clash between Marouni and Shion
I've only read two chapter, but they was intersting. I especially like that the world is so free (thinking about the magic rooms and stuff). Will keep following this, but it would probably get axed in a couple of weeks
Actually, the "strong protagonist" isn't all that uncommon in WSJ... I mean, sure, most of those weren't really hits, but Neuro, Muhyo, and Akaboshi all had REALLY strong protagonist at the very beginning... Neuro and Muhyo were literally the strongest in their respective world.
Oh, and Ch.4 Scan came out today.
