Uploading Raw Manga from Kindle Ebook (Need Help)

    Hi
I've been picking up manga titles from Amazon that have not been shared online (or at least not found on sharing sites). The ebook comes in a kindle proprietary .azw format which I am able to strip the DRM using Apprentice Alf's DeDRM plugin for calibre. But I have no way to convert to bunches of Jpeg. Only PDFs or other e-reader formats. And when I convert to PDF, the resolution of the images have shrunk!

Anyone know of a way to convert format to bunches of jpegs while preserving the size of the images? Need help. thanks. Otherwise I'll have to continue to upload all my bought manga as low quality PDFs which is awful.

You should be able to convert to zip in calibre and the zip file will contain the images. The resolution can vary but it is usually 300dpi, around 600x1000. You can still use calibre to convert PDF files to zip.

To upscale resolution you can use photoshop or PDFcreator. Similarly, PDFcreator can convert PDF files to jpegs.

Thank you so much Kamas. I spend a whole day trying to work this out. Didn't realize ZIP was the answer. Looks like no aspect ratio problems and resolution is the same as what I get when reading from Kindle (844x1200). ty
