Forum News: Vote in the final phase of the Anime Awards 2014
From Google Translate: "there is no such plan has been written here at the moment." RT @ AnimeRocks05: @ tite_kubo Kubo, http://prntscr.com/s8ewz I appreciate it if you could want to know whether this was just real, you answer.
It's more than likely that the Bleach Anime will return at some point of time. But there are some reasons that could have something to do with it's "ending":
-no more fillers ~ they didn't have material and maybe it would have been really bad if they would have made even more filler ~ it would have dragged the story ~ and I don't know if the filler were a good financial thing
-after Aizen the popularity went down ~ maybe you should wait for a better point in the story to resume the anime to really boost the Manga ~ maybe it was a financial problem for the studio ~ I don't know if the anime was a real success at the end... ~
-Tite Kubo makes the Manga know how he wants to ~ he said that the Editorial Department is okay with what he wants to do and he can do it the way he wants ~ what means: more/stronger gore(at least on the human said and not just the hollow), the Bleach anime was kinda directed to kids, too ~ so that wouldn't have been too great ~ and there are some close-ups etc. that could get pretty hard to create in the anime and that wouldn't really be time-filling and entertaining there ~
-maybe some other big Shounen will end "soon" ~ until then maybe it's the best to wait to get more material for Bleach so that it can try to fill in the gap then ~
So what did Kubo mean on his twitter? It's well past 22/3/13 and there's no news.
Someone should have asked him about it in the interview in Germany.
Based on the juvenile direction the anime is heaeding and the increasing gore in the final arc (as seen for example with Byakuya being on the verge of death) it is possible that Kubo decided to restart the anime towards a more mature audience, perhaps as OVAs. I liked the Bleach anime, but seeing people get cut up and not bleed/cough up water was getting in the way of the intensity of the fights.

I hope it does. Not because I want to watch it, but because I want a better BLEACH game out of it. As for why it would come back, BLEACH for all it's faults is still pretty popular. Hopefully if it does come back, they can get a great animation studio for return.

I would like for it to be back. If only for a few episodes so I can see Yamamoto's bankai animated. Infant I wouldn't mind if the studio blow their whole animation budget on it.
Yes viz and kubo would be throwing away a TON of money if the last arc doesnt get animated
Technically Kubo and VIZ have no say in it. It depends on JUMP and TV Tokyo since they hold the contract. I'll agree that the anime should return.
It's highly possible that the only reason the anime was cancelled was because of the increasing number of filler episodes. I'm hoping they will announce something in early 2014 about a sequel anime coming at the end of the year.
They could bring Bleach back now, there's already enough episodes and material for them to expand on.....I'm a bit concerned we haven't heard anything yet. Fairy Tail got cancelled and not even half a year later a return date was announced.....
In my opinion, because we're talking about one of Pierrot biggest money maker, I think that Bleach will take Naruto's broadcasting TV time after it ends (2015 year?). They need to have a big title show after Naruto ends. When 2015 comes, we will have something like 120+ unused manga chapters so it will be enough for 50~ episodes.
