That seems awkward...Kyousuke is a decent amount older then Ayase isn't he? Although this IS japan we're talking about..
In Japan, I'm not sure that they worry about those issues in the same way.
14 and 17 doesn't happen in American standarts?
You see, there's something called statutory rape, which is where someone over the age of consent has sex with a minor, and that's wrong because a minor is not capable of giving consent. If proven, it's a jail sentence, I believe.
Once you get older the 3 year difference doesn't matter so much...but a 17 year old and a 14 year old are just so different. A lot of growth happens in those years.
Well, not every couple have sex...
What about 15 and 28? 16 and 23? 17 and 32?
My classmates throughout the years? XD
A classmate's with a girl 4-5 years older, and they've been together for maybe three years already?
Well I wasn't really referring to sex, but there's a big difference in...just the way they look I guess? I dunno how to describe it really. Emotional growth too and all that.
Totally not fine with any of those numbers either.
Once a girl hits 15/16 she doesn't look too different XD
I don't know how it's done in Slovakia, but here in the States, that's a complete no no. Those ages you mentioned, that's prison time. As long as you're both at least 18, no one asks questions. People raise eyebrows at large age gaps, at least 15-20 or more years older, but we accept it.
That's totally not true, darj
It depends on the person, I just don't like generalizing according to age. Personality or life happenings just matter more.
Looks depend too.
Is it illegal with no sex involved?
And well yeah, parents wouldn't know and there's no one who could stop it really.
Darj is right in some ways, but taboo factors in. Thinking rationally, growth in the teen years is exponential, but it isn't the same for everyone. When you're legally an adult, no one can say anything about relationships with such age disparity. But the legality of it is enough to scare most away.
