Wonder if this will be censored How did they do it in the ova?
I remember someone saying that artifact is why Gon believes he doesn't have a mother.
thinking this should be in spoiler

Joking aside, I think it's pretty bogus we literally have no idea who Gon's mother is at this point.
The artifact in question is S class and it's pretty clear S or higher artifacts are well beyond the ability to recreate with aura by any particular individual. Note that the rejuenvation pills (S-10) are also S class and if you can create that on your own you'd never die from old age, which is a completely ridiculous power. Even if you're limited to one shot of 100, that's still way beyond the power of HXH characters seeing Netero at around 120 years old is basically impossibly old, and unlike his case, with these pills you'd have something like 120-130 (assuming people in HXH peak around 20-50) years of your prime if you took them at the right time.
In fact I don't think any of the artifacts are even supposed to usable in the game itself unless you're using it for game playing purposes. Otherwise anyone older than about 20 should immediately take the pills whenever they have more than 1 copy of the said card. Even if this card is limited to once per party (like the Alexandite), 100 years is a lot of time to buy the random cards and hope one of them magically becomes the pills again.

I've said many times in the past that I believe Gon is born from the World Tree and Ging has some omnipotent nen ability that requires use of the World tree.
Obviously quite a few items exist for gameplay purposes (Gon's necklace, for example), and those clearly should be usable in game.
But the item that really breaks this is the rejuenvation pills. Let's say your prime is 25 years old. It says reversing your age does not remove your knowledge. So if Netero is 125 and he took 100 of those, he'd be back to 25 and still retain all his awesome moves in his prime body. There is literally no drawback to consuming these pills to reduce your age to your prime age as soon as possible. The pills are S-10 and we don't know how many parties have it but it's at least 2 (it's not one of the bottleneck cards). Also all artifacts can be randomly obtained by using the 'random' card, even SS ones (though with very low chance, and Risky Dice cannot give you enough luck to get S or higher class artifacts). In fact, Biscuit was tempted to select the pills as one of the reward but this is incredibly dumb. They can simply duplicate that card the same way Archangel is duplicated (have a guy with only the said card in his book, have another guy cast Duplicate), and immediately consume however many pills she thinks is right. Yes she can't take the rest of them to the real world but I'm guessing she'll probably take at least 40 of those and you get 40 years of life back!
Of course in light of that Netero should've spend the next month taking all the Zodiac and whoever else he can round up to play Greed Island to get those pills. That'd certainly increase his chance of defeating Meryem far more than any possible action (he said he only has 50% of his prime's power). Heck, it's possible Gon might even already know how to get those pills (he got a lot of those cards), and if not it's almost certain Tsezguerra knows (he has the card). Yes I know people will be reluctant to share these secrets but if you're ordered by the chairman of Hunter's Association who needs it to save the world from an extinction level event, I'm sure Tsezguerra will be willing to offer the knowledge.
