Haha good catch
About the promotion? Well, mostly happy and excited, of course! (And even a bit proud~ ) I mean I'd been a part of this community for all these years (remember: I've been around even longer than the Bear Geezer) and then I got this offer out of practically nowhere... It's just an amazing chance to join the ranks of the team of what I consider one of the most amazing international Manga Communities of the web. So I'm really looking forward to have a great time working together with you guys~

Natürlich auch ein bisschen wehmütig über den Verlust meines feschen Übersetzerlilas...
Ich hoffe, dass ich mich bald an meine grün, grün, grünen Kleider gewöhne~
Are you already committed to translate HJ on regular basis?

What I said:
Of course, I'm also feeling slightly wistful about the loss of my neat Translator's Purple...
Let's hope I'll get used to my green wardrobe soon~ [Referring to a German nursery rhyme about a person who loves the color green and sings about how all his clothes are "green, green, oh so green" and that in fact, just about everything he owns is green.]
And Googlez just replied:
Fortunately you still got your user title (MH's Best Translator)
I still find it hard to predict what route the series will eventually take and where Tabata is heading with the story. Chapter 1 promised a "Mystery Science Adventure" series and I really hope it tries to stick to these genres. I don't want this to turn into some lowbrow Battle manga. - As long as it manages to stay fresh and interesting I'll try to stick to the series!
Another thing that should be interesting is the amount of text Tabata will eventually pack into a single chapter. The first chapter was just sooo damn long and wordy. Even though I had hardly any problems translating the chapter, the sheer amount of text was a real kick to the groin in regards to my motivation. I mean I don't want him to pull a Kubo, but please no more 10 pages scripts! Never!
The third aspect will be its popularity in JUMP. I can only hope the saying "Third time's the charm" comes true and this won't be the next project that dies prematurely on me. (Hoop Men ended in 17 chaps and Oumaga made 37 with tons of luck.)
Of course, you still can't tell jack after only 2 or 3 chapters. So let's wait and see for when the first results come in.
