Yeah, I suppose I drank it too much last year and I'm kind of sick of the taste now.
Haha, woooow. Good thing you're getting antioxidants and whatnot from it all. How about the flower teas, like jasmine or chrysanthemum?
You do that! What kind of tea do you usually order with it? The pop balls that I get have fruity flavours, so they go well with fruity teas. A friend of mine once got the pop balls with regular milk tea and I wasn't too much of a fan of the combination.
Argh, I'll just go cry in a corner about how out of the big 4 bubble tea franchises here, only one of them sells the pop balls. It's my least favourite franchise too.
Yeah! It's not just limited to the chewy bubbles (pearls) or the pop balls. You can get grass jelly, egg pudding, lychee jelly, sago, etc. as toppings as well. I suppose bubble tea is just an umbrella term for tea in those sealed plastic cups with a topping of some sort.
Bubble tea is merely milk tea... (I just don't like the chewy bubbles to be honest...) but Hong Kong-style milk tea are amazing, especially iced. I don't get why the British didn't think of anything like that even though they were the inventors... all that's available here are weirdly fruity flavoured with a random mix of mint and/or I-don't-know-what :/ I'm not too fond of those...

Oh and @Ice I only discovered those poppy bubble things recently, thanks to a friend's suggestion. Since all I ever thought was bubble tea = chewy bubbles, which I don't like, I never really know too much... It seems you have so much more to offer over there! Or maybe I'm just a bit ignorant >.<;
But I love most or all Chinese tea, yuuuuummm ^^ Jasmine is amazing, chrysanthemum I can't really spell but I love it too. I actually prefer the VITA Chrysanthemum tea, which I think you should know XD VITA Lemon Tea is amazing. There's this honey+chrysanthemum tea packs in grains which you melt it in hot water and they're sooo soothing and tasty especially during the winter! ^^
Just ordered a new batch of Sencha, Gyokuro and Longjing
That was not sarcasm or whatnot . I actually read about it. The tea leaves were bitten by tiny green flies. As a result, the tea itself has a special flavour.

MM, which one will you recommend - Sencha, Gyokuro or Longjing??
Depends on your budget, meaning how much you wanna spend and of course your taste. Gyokuro is more expensive but in turn not so bitter because the growth process, which is different than for normal Sencha for example, results in a decrease of catechins. I would go with Gyokuro for the taste but Sencha Uchiyama for the health or Longjing if you have a tight budget since most Longjings are pretty cheap.

On a more funnier note: behold! Tea leaves can prophesy
(Utsune...yup, you're right! Now I'm weird )
Errr... Well the only thing I really notice is tea leaf twig thing standing upright in my tea, good fortune apparently. Not that I... er... feel any different afterwards.
On a related note, I sometimes see my face in my tea, not sure what that means.
(P.S. Please continue being weird! )
I'm typically a red tea or oolong drinker by nature. I actually need to go pick up some more batches of monkey picked Oolong and Golden Monkey Tea (Red Tea) as I'm starting to run low.
I love going to this store: www.teavana.com
I only bought their ready-to-drink tea such as their Earl Grey Latte, but I hope to buy actual tea leaves from there once I finish what I have at home. I enjoy tasting the samples and taking in the scent of various tea flavours.
Teavana is quite popular here too and they have a good selection XD. I restock from them often XD
I love teas, all kinds really - I don't really have a favorite or go-to. Green, white, black teas... chai, mate, herbal, rooibos, oolong etc. I rarely ever buy the same tea twice! Whole leaf tea is my preference, but I do often by the stuff in the bags for convenience, especially for work. I have a Tazo green tea and ginger now that I really like. Ginger adds such a potent but nice flavor to green tea (which by itself I think is rather bland).
http://www.adagio.com/ Very good quality teas of what I have had so far.
Omaigosh, they even have zodiac teas . Why is Aquarius a black tea though ????
