Retsu!! Date-senpai volume 1 went up a fair bit this week. It still wouldn't have sold more than 5000 copies but it managed to beat out Sensei no Bulge.
Retsu!! Date-senpai → Sensei no Bulge → Takamagahara

Guys random question, what was JUMP latest baseball manga? I am thinking Mr.Fullswing or ROOKIES, right?
Heck now I want Kishimoto to do a baseball manga >.>
over time was the last baseball ongoing in wsj
makes you wonder if over times failue was indicative of baseball falling out of vogue with jumps audience really.
at the least i am hoping we get a good new baseball ongoing this year.
Are there going to be spoilers today?
Yes the long wait is almost over just be patient for a few more hours.
Here is the list of popular baseball JUMP mangas and its years run:
Chichi no tamashi (#1 1968-#44 1971)
Samurai Giants (#36 1971-#47 1974)
Astro Kyudan (#39 1972-#26 1976)
Play ball (#27 1973-#31 1978)
1.2 No ahho (#43 1975-#21 1978)
Akutare Kyojin (#5-6 1976-#9 1980)
Susume!! Pirates (#41 1977-#46 1980)
Kenritsu Umisora Kōkō Yakyū Buin Yamashita Tarō-kun (#44 1986-#32 1990)
ACE (#1-2 1990-#26 1991)
ROOKIES (#10 1998-#39 2003)
Mr. Fullswing (#23 2001-#23 2006)
OVER TIME (#33 2006-#52 2006)
Kishimoto's One-shot Bench (2010)
7 baseball mangas starting (and being succesful) in JUMP's first 10 years -1968 to 1978. And then it was pretty downhill.
The longest JUMP hasn't had any succesful baseball manga on its line-up is 8 years (From Yamashita Taro's kund ending in 1990 to ROOKIES beginning in 1998)
It has been almost 7 years already since Mr. Fullsing ended.. Do you guys think JUMP is gonna break its record?
BTW I only included ACE and Over time because I knew it was baseball, too lazy to investigate every JUMP baseball series. Also I could have left an important baseball manga left. -.-

Nisekoi should have its popularity character contest results announced next week.
Will have to wait for preview page of next issue to 100% confirm it.

been saying this elsewhere, but I'm pretty sure double issues means this is Soma's first rank too, and it gels with mentions of it being another hit for Jump.
now i'm gonna go weep about kiruko
