Being published in Jump might have been a big advantage in 1992. Thirty years later, I think the industry has changed. Serialization in Jump certainly has it's perks, it still produces more hits than other magazines. But in this day and age, with magazine sales in decline while tankobon sales are soaring, serialization does not seem like the key factor in developing a fanbase. Fans seem to find series by the volume now, rather than by the chapter.
I actually would like to see a Part III of Naruto, with a shorter span and focus on Sasuke/The end. A time skip could bring a bit of progression and development, which the long ongoing war misses. If he also give Naruto as much power as he did in Part 2 at the beginning, then there also woulnd't be a power problem with future opponents.
Regarding the coherence and plot holes kaiten, do you have a list anywhere to read for that? I tend do forget stuff and like these analysis and information about series.

I think Gintama is supposed to be between Beel and Medaka.
I guess that's it for the pimping Hungry Joker talk.
I was really wanting to know about that.
Kiruko and HJ was really being UPed by the editors and all that stuff... is all that true?
I really don't want both to be canceled. Principally Kiruko-san.
And so continues the push on the new generation. Not that I'm complaining, can't wait for the nisekoi cp.
World Trigger looks interesting.

Woo Bleach in the Top 5, very happy about that. Nothing too disappointing this week on the TOC as the mangas I care about avoided the bottom 5 for the most part. Gintama is making me nervous though.
Promotion for the HxH movie on the cover, yet no news for the manga's return? Boo.
With Edison being yet another gag manga, it's going to face very stiff competition. With Kusuo Saiki and more classical favourites here to stay, it'll compete under no less pressure than what Retsu has faced over the course of its run.
Nobody should be surprised if Edison gets cancelled not too long into the future.
To the left of the face, it says "A world colliding superdreadnought Sci-Fi, begins!"
Whether this manga ends up surviving or failing, I'd really like to see what it has to offer first.
