This week's placement of Date-senpai was also very low, but still isn't horrible compared to a dozen or so other series that started in the past decade.

Thanks, are the feedback that bad ? Cross manage oneshot was quite successful here but maybe the serialization didn't match the expectation
Jump NEXT! Autumn (09/10):Quote:
Paradise Rule (Lead Color Page, 48 pg.)
Tora no Hana
Soul Catcher(S) (Special One Shot, 49 pg.)
3012 Genie of the Lamp
Tokyo Wonder Boys
School of God
Kusuo Saiki vs Korosensei (Special One Shot, 7 pg.)
Nurarihyon no Mago (Lead Ending Color Page, 63 pg.)
Running Horse (Gag-Cup)
Wild Idea (Gag-Cup)
In Jump NEXT! Autumn there also info about the new anime seasons of Bakuman, Medaka Box and Gintama.
- Assassination Classroom
- PSI Kusuo Saiki
- Koisome Momiji
- Cross Manage
Haikyuu is by far the most popular with Date-senpai being the most unpopular. Kurogane is not as unpopular as the others in the unpopular group, but definitely not popular enough to be put in the popular group.
I don't know the reason why people are not interested, but I also dropped Cross Manage this week. I really liked the oneshot and enjoyed chapter 1 but I haven't had much fan reading it since. I also currently love Haikyuu too much to care about another sports series unless its amazing.

LOL Sorachi's comment (on the TOC) cracked me up. So random, weird, and disgusting... snippets I found interesting from this week's comments for all those who generally wonder what the authors write on their columns:
- Sorachi gets diarrhea from meetings with his editor. More precisely, the minute he sees that guy's face it's already starting...
- Asou (Saiki Kusuo no PSI-nan) just can't believe he actually made the cover and opening pages while still being published. He's worried JUMP might stop selling now due to this week's issue.
- Furudate (Hq!!) - besides the usual fan letters, cheap sweets, and whatnot - gets beer as a gift from his readers, da hell...
- Kondou (Retsu!!! Date-senpai) says he likes the series Reach Man (by Yoneda Tatsurou) from Kodansha's Morning. [I just like seeing what series the authors like, especially when it's not from their respective magazine/publisher.]

*grinning from ear to ear* Jump readers love Furuichi. I am so happy about this development! I hope Beelzebub stays in that position for the next couple of weeks. And the fact we get another color page next week is like icing on the cake.
Assassination Classroom ranking third also makes me ridiculouly happy.
Now-a-day, when I look at Jump, its nice to see more variety of manga than there were a couple of years ago. Ever since Zeromcd posted that list showing male/female popularity of Jump manga, it makes me content knowing Jump manga really does have cross-demographic appeal. Its a shame Momiji won't last long, but I hope there's another interesting rom-com that replaces it.
hey guys, i am planning on release the one-shot by sakaki kenji the author of enigma, nevermind the rawproviding, that's already covered, but, if u're a redrawer/typesetter/translator and u're interested in working on it with us @ lupajenge, please pm me on mangahelpers :P

I'm not sure if this belongs here, but a Sket Dance OVA will be released with a volume of the series next spring. Or something like that, I can't read Japanese. http://sketdance.jp/news/index.html#Tab59
Now that scans started to do Koganeiro, I'm curious: anyone knows how was the reception of this short serie by the Japaneses? Like in 2ch, twitter or anything else.

This is probably another guy pretending to be a Shueisha insider, but I'll post it for the hell of it and because there is a very slight chance it could be true.
Quote:Takamagahara and Kurogane are the next 2 series to be cancelled. As proof he posted that the bottom 5 for Issue #47 which will be out next week:Quote:
?Jump Issue #47 Bottom 5?
Nisekoi will have a Lead CP for Issue #48, but Assassination Classroom will have the cover and a Center Colour. A oneshot and Sket Dance will also have Center Colour's for Issue #48.
Two new series will also be starting:
- A battle series (Writer: Iwashiro (Psyren), Artist: Takeuchi (writer of ST&RS))
- A system engineer themed series (Author: Matsuyuki - 2008 Golden Future Cup FIGHTPRINCEREVOLUTION)
He has heard that Kurogane's final chapter might be published in Jump Next! but he is not certain of it.
