Ch 176 raws :
Soo... when I was googling to search what does "furuchin" mean... No wonder Furuichi hate to be called by that nickname too :
There was no need to search, the translator explained it in a footnote in chapter 103, when Sachura used it for the first time. In that chapter, they chose to translate it as "Baredick".
Yup, it gets as low as low can get when it comes to nicknames.
I think its pretty funny, considering the first time Oga addresses Furuichi, he tells him to "put it away". Even from a young age, Furuichi's name and dick jokes were a perfect match for the Oga siblings.
You know what would be funny? If Sachura called Furuichi that because she saw it scribbled somewhere in his room. A 5 year old prank.
Going back to the chapter, I think its interesting too that Hilda' first words as her Amnesiac self was "Do you remember me?" After giving it more thought, it could be this next arc might be a way to reconcile Hilda's soft side with her normal attitude.
Then again, as soon as I typed that, I'm not sure what Hilda would gain from that alternate personality. If you think about it, her interactions with people stayed about the same, it's only her attitude towards Oga and Beel that changed. So if she somehow "merged" with this other personality, all she would gain (besides better cooking skills) would be a fixation/crush on Oga. Which would be fine in isolation, but then she wouldn't be as focused on Beel, which is kind of the point of her existence.
What do you guys think? Of course, I could be completely wrong, and this arc could be like the Rice Boy arc. (at the beginning of that arc we got a color page too, which totally threw me off).
