Plotwise, not much development but it is a really fun eps, especially because I can see Kuroh running around the entire eps.
I didn't expect this series to be so silly, but I'm happy it is.
Seeing Kuroh pranked by Neko again and again... To repel Kuroh: put a naked girl in front of him. He is innocent regarding that, eh?
Shiro doesn't seem so innocent now, he can lie to save his life! The funny part is that Kuroh believes it, even seem to be moved by it. :P
He also brings cooking stuffs everywhere? Wow. I know he lives alone, but still... that is something. He seems to remember the recipe word-by-word too... (and humming while cooking?!) :O That is unexpected from someone the Homra considers to be dangerous.
I hope next eps, we'll see some development because we're still in the dark about the point of the series.
Like two posters above me said. No plot development, but not a filler either. Pure fun and laugh.
Kuroh is so epic. Here he is running around to kill someone, but at the mention of a little sister and death warrant only he bows down. He bows down to a lie, LOL~ And Shiro is quite the clever one too. I wonder what those smoke balls are, and how he could get into the dog costume so fast under such time. Did he really use magic or something? :P The whole idea of catch-me-if-you-can, check-to-see-if-the-wall-is-an-illusion-or-you-will-get-beaten game is very lovely. And they are all united by cooking. XD In general I laughed and surprised to see all these other sides of Kuroh, they played him well. XDD
As yuki, though, I want to see more of the plot. Especially how that video happened, who the Homura (I believe that is the proper translation) is, and who the other group which go against the Homura in episode 1 is.
Just watched the first 2 episodes.
Pretty good. I loved the sense of humor (I laughed out loud when I saw they eye's drawn on that guys eyelids) , loved the way the fights looked, and liked the way it seemed to have the capacity for something a bit more dramatic.
Like the rest of you I'm not quite sure what to think of the plot yet. I'm also not sure how I feel about the lens tinting effect that comes and goes; but that's just me being picky.
K is such a downer to me, I expected more tbh. There still is near to no plot development and the whole "trying to catch that white haired guy" was too stretched. There were some funny moments but it didn't make me forgot that near to nothing happened =/ I feel the series is trying too hard to be cool and stylish and in this process made (so far) shallow characters and a non-existent plot =/
Let's see where it goes but I'm really not impressed atm.
It's visually amazing, but that's it, plot is confusing and a lot of it is cliche, examples different colour eyes, omg there is a naked girl in my bed and she is neko! I have seen those cleaning robots in a lot of anime too, the whole I am 7th king I am 204th king. bah! I am only interested in this anime visually right now.
im tired of people whining about the plot, it's just the 2nd episode. And the setting is here: there is a war between different faction each of them leaded by a king, using psychic power. And the protagonist is confounded with a king who committed a murder and got a bounty on his head, now each faction is trying to catch and kill him. it obviously gonna be explained later why, and that let you open for theory. It's not like you don't understand 100% of what going on. Plus it's really funny and agreeable to watch.
I'm disappointed. Zero excitement, I don't like it at all so far, I was anticipating that after a slow first episode we'll kick off in the second one, but I again felt like like nothing happened. I'm not gonna drop it, God knows there are lots of anime that end up being awesome and you've just gotta wait a bit (Drrr! comes to mind) but so far...
I didn't really find it funny too, but I'm not sure how many percent of that is me being kind of 'meh'. I guess I was expecting something more...
Though how they remind me of Kanda/Nezumi Allen/Shion is a pure win \o/ ..okay I have no problem with them being kind of ctrlC ctrlV is that okay
A bit off-topic: Now that I’m repliying to you, I’ve remembered that I still need to watch the 6th OVA about Kazama Chikage (I only watched the raw on youtube). A spanish fansub has just translated it to spanish thanks to their japanese-spanish translator.
And for the plot... these two episodes are for me an opening to the series. Yes, normally this is the role of the first episode but I have this feeling for the second too. And it seems normal for me. Why? The GoraHands group, which is one of the producers, is composed by light novel writers, so they’re triying to introduce us little by little in this world, like in a book (imho). I know this could not be the best for a short anime series but I prefer it. Too many information at first or speeding things up could make you be a bit lost. But maybe this is a personal preference because I tend to assimilate things in a slower way and that’s what I felt after watching the first episode of Psycho-pass.
For the moment, this two episodes have showed us the little summary that they gave us (and posted in the first post). Only some clarifications
In episode one, the other group which go against the Homura is called “Scepter 4” and his leader/king is Munakata Reisi. When they arrived to that building, we could see some men wearing helmets and long shields that reminded me the SWAT or some assault troops, coming with them. My first impresssión was that all of them were part of the police and hey! I found this yesterday:
My thoughts on Shiro. I really don’t understand him but I like him: he’s (apparently) so carefree and good person... but at the same time, he used those bombs of light on Kuroh, he lied to Kuroh and... that kind of “vision” (well, actually he only heard somehow those men's voices, talking about “a war") he had in the academy’s rooftop and that strange video. He’s definetely someone.
And now, something that catch my attention. One of the men form Shiro’s “vision” wears some strange hair ornaments, very similar to Kukuri’s. See:
Oh, @yukihime and Judasu. If you visit the fanpage I linked in my post, you’ll find some audios of the seiyuu (a brief summary and the download links). They’re like little dramas, showing funny moments of K’s characters. If you have problems, feel free to pm me.

Good episode. We got a few answers and a whole bunch of new questions. Yay!
Animation is still epic and the acting characters are good. I like most of them... For now
Neko still my favourite. I love carefree, airheaded girls.
Anyway, about the new eps... I totally change my opinion about Yatogami. I just.. .
I guess after this eps, we'll see Shiro and Kuro together a lot.
This eps answers a lot of things. Actually the old man in Shiro's vision is actually the Golden King (maybe he's Kukuri' grandpa or something too?). I wonder when we will see more of him. We get to see
sephirothsilver-haired man again, though he's still shrouded in mystery.
Munakata and Mikoto, they both play a game of their own, it seems. Homra and Scepter 4 work to investigate the same thing. Fushimi (his name always reminds me of sashimi) and Yata get more screenshot in this eps.
Now that I've read K's manga, I feel bad about Totsuka being killed.
I'm excited about the next eps. Yatogami's past? Him wearing yukata? (Wow, it only makes him look more like Hijikata)

Totally loving it. There is a casual feel about most of the characters. I love how its been filmed. Really, hard to dislike any character so far. It has potential.

Omg, I need to watch this episode... but my favourite fansub won't have it done till this evening TT-TT

So, Fushimi was former Homura, probably why he and Yata has a such a grudge with each other. I heard spoiler form somewhere that they were formerly best friends. I wonder if Adolf K Weismann, the silver and 1st ranked king has a connection with Shiro considering they have the same hair color.
Finally, some explanations. Been waiting for it.
Still, there are too many secrets. Totally don't get the conversation between Mikoto and Reishi. Very interesting, though. I'm also wondering if we'll ever see the other clans; so far we only have HOMRA, Scepter 4, and a clan Shiro probably gonna lead (colorless clan). I really like the idea of colorless clan, since I imagined it would be like invisible power suddenly attacking you. <333 Then there was me laughing with the bar scene, and I was thinking/hoping that Kusanagi would just bump their head into each other to sort his anger. XDD
The scene with Kuro is totally strange for me. Such a fanatic.
Oh, well, looking forward to next episode, still.
