Well Kawai is working for Harimoto, no doubt they will betray him. Kimura will just use him to make their group's win as big as they can, that means Kawai will also be left with nothing in the end.
It seems that in the end this game will be appealing to players as well, Abe is getting more and more closer to Nao, I do believe that at the end of the arc Kimura will be left hanging since Abe is not that much of a fan of hers. Till then, we shall truly see the evil power of Kimura though. I just hope kaitani does things fast, new break again.
Kawai is working for Akiyama for sure.
All this is just act.
Do we have any idea on the debt loads of the two characters mentioned as possibly thinking of working together? I get the feeling that their numbers are significantly higher than 320 million which makes the idea that they would be unwilling to work together incredibly stupid. (But idiocy and terrible writing is not something new to the series.)
Looks like Akiyama's days are numbered this time!!
If you didn't notice, there is a break next time. No wonder Liar Game is going down the tubes, Kaitani can't even count to 3. (We got 2 chapters before the break when it was supposed to be 3 chapters then a 1 week break.)
I guess the announcement counted as a week or something
The announcement came in the second week of a one week break (we got the new schedule instead of the chapter), so that would be problematic. It also doesn't bode well that he cannot keep up his new schedule for even one cycle before breaking it.
He's taken breaks like this before but they've been more frequent as of late.
I'm 99% sure that this is all part of Akiyama's plan.
Kawai is just a really good actor (or Kimura is just more gullible than we thought).
As for the break for next week, you should be more understanding.
This is not an easy manga to write!
He needs to make sure that there's no plot-holes, otherwise the whole idea of the game makes no sense.
So I'd rather that he takes a few weeks and get back with a tight game, rather than having a chapter every week filled with plot-holes that makes no sense.

I don't really care about the breaks either way, I just tune the manga out when it's not happening.
Togashi trained me well.
