What do you think will be Sakura and Kakashi's role in this new arc, at this point their normal humans fighting along side Demi gods and Zombies vs a Goddess and possibly her own army.
What can they really do at this point, and how do you think they will grow as characters mainly Sakura in this case.
Please keep this civil and not a Sakura/Kakashi bashing thread

There really isn't much they can do. Sasuke might've been a tiny bit harsh in his assessment of their usefulness, but they really can't do anything.
Not that they aren't great ninja. They just don't have the necessary abilities for fighting against the current enemy right now.
Sakura, at the very least, is a great healer. So she should at least be able to keep herself and Kakashi alive while Sasuke and Naruto duke it out with Kaguya.
Kakashi ain't no idiot, either. So unless some crazy otherworldly stuff
like being transported instantly into a volcanohappens, they should be ok.
They're just there for commentary.
Kakashi's new role should be brains. Intellectually, he's superior to Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura, so he should be observing the enemy and finding out weaknesses, holes, or anything.
Kakashi will be the strategist like he usually is. Sakura will be the cheerleader like she usually is, she may heal someone during the fight but this won't be settled by taijutsu.
He wouldn't need the Sharingan though, just Sasuke communicating with him.
I suspect they are the manga equivalent of sports commentators
Kakashi is obviously the play-by-play guy. Spouting and endless riven the most long winded way possible and say what various parties should be doing. Sakura is our color commentator. It'll be her job to ask stupid question that Kakashi can answer for the audiences benefit and tackle the emotional and humorous(unlikely in this case) angles of whats going on; and generally just trying to keep the audience from asleep.
