Well it's Gilthunder who said he was dead and we now know he was lying. Why did he though ? Maybe it's linked to the fact that King seems to have betrayed them.
Oh, duh lol. Why didn't I just think he was lying Of course he would say that he is dead if King is working for him.
So I guess King having such a childlike appearance compared to his wanted picture is no different than Melodias. Guess I was over-thinking things a bit.
I wonder if King has anything to do with the Sins being framed?
The child appearance is still intriguing since Ban called him a fatass and I thought he was the guy on the right in Goldb link
Yeah, height wise, that armored character to the right of Melodias seems to be the only one that could be King if he was always a child's height. But yeah, if he wasn't fat at one point, then he must have had a lot of breathing room in that armor, so it's still plausible that he deaged/regenerated or something like that.
Looking at that page goldb supplied again, I wonder which one is Ban? I'm guessing the one in the middle out of the 3 characters in front of Diane. And it seems that the one on the far left is floating, so that may not be unique to King. That could certainly bring a new dimension to the battles if several characters are able to float/fly.

From L-R you've got Merlin, Diane, Ban, Escanor, Gowther, Meliodas and King.
BTW, any news on why there wasn't a chapter this past week? I don't recall seeing any notes on the last page of the chapter.
Unfortunately it is a scanlation issue. Last chapter was the second of 3 color pages which, if I'm not mistaken, corresponds to issue 11 and now we are at the issue 16 of the magazine with a front color page (which btw contain an intriguing spoiler).
I had forgotten about that, until I just read it again. I am a dumbass.
Just read chapter 18 and it was pretty awesome.
So it seems King did indeed revert to a childlike form based on his appearance in the flashback and how Ban didn't even recognize him. Actually, he kind of acted like a child when he appeared as an adult, and seems more "adult" now that he looks like a child, so perhaps he is like Benjamin Button lol.
And judging from Ban mistaking that girl for "Elle", and his words of "a real sin can't be erased", followed by King saying "you already know that pretty well", I bet that this "Elle" was someone important to both King and Ban, and Ban somehow is responsible for her death.
Indeed this last double spread was impressive. Seems like Ban and King indeed have a complicate relationship. It's hard to not want more.
What a chapter, I'm evermore so curious about what happened to King during the separation of the sins and this "dynamic duo" relationship he had with Ban. Matt, I agree with you regarding "Elle" in how the situation played out.
I love your sig k-dom. I wish I had thought of that
Thanks :-). When I saw it, I told myself : finally a page that I could use as a sig for the serie. But I was in to much a hurry and spoiled goldb by not following the 24h rule. I apologize again for that.
