Is there anything that'd suggest that cyborgs or inanimate objects, or even normal animals can have will?
Oda's definition of eating a DF is the same as ours, it's scientific progress and not different mechanics of OP world that'd allow anything else than sentient beings to eat DF. It's not about definitions, it's about the world being dynamic. In that sense, a haki-allowing will could even be implanted into cyborgs, but there is nothing suggesting such a tremendous progress, so it's reasonable to go by common sense ad facts until proven wrong.
You're pretty much just argumenting "nothing is impossible, so Kuma having haki is possible".
So in Film Z, it was explained that Zephyr (Z) had his arm severed and almost all of his students killed by a pirate with a DF. And then a while later this same pirate became a Shichibukai, which was the last straw for Zephyr, causing him to leave the Marines and start the Neo Marines. At the time of watching I thought that perhaps this pirate was Doflamingo, because he seems very strong and he's cut off Little Oars Jr.'s leg with seemingly little effort.
But then when I read Volume 1000 later, it was stated that the pirate who caused Zephyr so much misery became a Shichibukai a year ago from the current storyline (i.e. post time-skip). This pirate must therefore be one of the three new Shichibukai.
I doubt it's Law. If it's him it would mean he'd been a pirate for at least seven years, plus severely wounded a former admiral and killed most of his students, and still be called a rookie (Supernovas at Sabaody). Not to mention he seemed too weak for that. And it's unlikely to be another Supernova for the same reason.
Another possibility for unrevealed Shichibukai is Buggy. Yeah, I know there's a lot of controversy surrounding this, but that's not the point of this thread. But again, it seems unlikely that Buggy would cut off a former admiral's arm and still only have a bounty of 15,000,000 beli and be very weak.
So who else could this Shichibukai possibly be, given what they did nine years ago? Do you think it could be a character we don't currently know about?
You're a little late. It's been discussed on the last 2 pages of this thread. - http://mangahelpers.com/forum/showth...hibukai-Are...
Well, if we apply logic, the 3rd new shishibukai must really be a completely new person.
Everyone on that list (excluding buggy, who is a given) couldnt hurt a marine admiral that many years ago, especially the listed supernovas.
Well, the WB-pirates could, maybe, but they wont join WG.
And enel was confirmed to never been a pirate ( he hasnt even seen the "blue sea")
I liked that "roche tomson" prediction. Betting on some ID prisoner aswell.
he was in level 6 of ID so we dont know him
was it confirmed he was in LV 6. impel down...
Well, out of 3 new shichibukai, oda must have chosen to introduce a new character,as the other 2 are already known. Yet,I haven't understood this: if he became shichibukai a year ago,how could zephyr have left the marines so long ago?
He left the admiral-post and became an instructor several years ago, thats why you didnt saw him in the manga til the timeskip. What he did 1 year ago was "just" quitting his instructor duties aswell and forming the NeoMarines
I'd go with Bonney since she was taken as prisoner by Akainu. I guess she'd rather become a marine paw than sit in prison without foooood
Bonney already had some connection to the World Government, Akainu simply took her back. She did not seem interested in going back, either. I doubt she would want to be an ally, she did not seem to like them very much.
